How do you become Admin

I think you need to be promoted by an admin. And only certan people get promoted. The admins pick who gets promoted.
 
Also, most of the time you're not promoted directly to an administrator, a lot of times you'll start off as a moderator and if your superiors feel you're ready for a promotion, they'll give it to you. But being an administrator is a sacred thing, it's not just handed out to you. Being an admin means being in control of the entire forum and that's a huge responsibility. In fact staff need to be careful on who they pick because you could destroy an entire forum in just a few clicks. But above all, you need to prove yourself worthy of it such as being a helpful member, don't backseat mod, and report any trouble on the board to the staff.

But I've noticed that on just about all forums that asking only hinders your chance in becoming one.
 
Make good posts is probably the best advice. Also, it pays to really like this place and the environment. If you like being around, you'll hang around a lot, and that's a good way to get noticed.

That's actually really good advice right there. Being a forum owner and admin myself, I've noticed a lot of people want to be either a moderator or an admin, but there's only one problem. They hardly come around the forums! When you're a staff member, you need to stick around and visit often. But if you only come a couple times a month, well, you're not going to get noticed and more than likely you won't be chosen to be part of the staff. Why have an inactive admin around?
