How do you fare with going to doctors?

How do you deal with going to doctors? Do you find going to doctors' appointments easy or hard.

I find them to be pretty easy. I am very compliant with the doctors and find all of the tests to be easy. I don't have a problem with the shots, either - as long as I look away. And many of the procedures aren't that bad.

Some of my friends are surprised at how well I take the doctor. My friend Frank is the most surprised - he hates going to doctors, especially ones that give him injections. Back in May, when both of us had appointments for blood drawing, we had different reactions. I took it well and felt good. Of course, I heard Frank scream. When he and his mother came out, he was crying. Some people really can't take shots - even at 17 years old.

I've had my fair share of health problems, so I'm used to it. Injections and blood tests and all that don't bother me. It's my health that worries me :<

Eh, I don't really enjoy it that much, I go to the doctor every so often for a check up, but I don't particularly enjoy it. I like being told I have no health problems though.

I like going to the doctors and checked up on. It's easy! I have loads of health problems so I go somewhat regularly and I feel confident that my doctor is giving me the best treatment possible.

Aside from long waits in the office at times I'm fine with doctors appointments. I rarely go to them, cause I rarely have anything wrong.

I'm generally fine. I do what I'm told, show up on time for appointments, but I'm really phobic of needles. It's really bad.

I hate the doctors...mainly cause I hate finding out whats wrong with me and being put on meds & having blood tests done. And when they take blood almost every person has difficulty finding a vein. One time there was one dummy that even twisted the needle around in my arm and that hurt like a b*tch. >.<

I really dislike going to the doctor, so i rarely ever go x_x, but its not needed that much anyway.

I don't like going to the doctors at all. For one thing, I hate answering personal questions, which is a huge part of going to the doctors. Also, even when I do comply, they never really help me a whole lot. It's pretty much always, "I dunno. You might be sick, but I would have to run some tests. I don't think it's necessary though," and then I leave with pretty much no answers. The good news is, I'm not scared of needles.

I don't like going to doctors, really. I had to go to a lot of them when I was younger--I had a ton of middle ear infections--so I'm not crazy about sitting in that office, wating to be called then asked a bunch of questions. To me, it's just plain stressful.

To be completely honest, I absolutely despise doctors. I hate seeing them, I hate going in their offices, I hate being anywhere near a doctors office. I guess it's because I've had a few bad experiences with them and that's kinda scarred me, but I refuse to go to the doctors. It's such a pain and you sometimes just end up getting sick being in their office.

I don't mind going to the doctor's, although I can't say the same about going to the dentist's.

The only problem I have is long waits, everything else is fine and easy. My eldest brother just turned 22 and he still hates shots so there's nothing wrong with your friend, some just don't like needles.

I don't really like them since I'm kinda afraid of shots...and since it's very awkward when they try to make conversation and various things like that. ^^;

Doctors make me uncomfortable, when they act all overly friendly to try to calm you down, which does the opposite for me. And I have a very low pain tolerance, so I don't like shots, and I gag when they look in my mouth for strep throat and all that.

So, I'm not a fun patient to have. XD
