I like it a lot because I collect owner cards so it will be a new experience for me. I mean, Elite Four cards? Awesome. I want Flint's Houndoom. Which one do you want?:spin:

It's a cool set. In total, from the prerelease and from what I've bought, I've gotten nineteen packs. Best pull was a Luxray GL Lv.X. I'm looking for a Flygon Lv.X.

They're trying to give us a blast from the past. Remember "Gym Heroes" and "Gym Challenge" series way back when?

I still have unopened packs from Gym Heroes. Sad, isn't it?

I'll see about getting a pack of these. Glad the whole set's not Gym Leaders, though. That's one thing that messed up GH and GC, as well as VS: after that set, it was over. The whole thing was useless. But now that they're subsets of Pokémon SP, it's neverending!

Dude, some peoples bought packs from Base Set and are using them like a time capsule. I have one friend that's gonna open one every 2 years for 40 years. By the time he's opened them all, he'll probably be able to sell them for like $5000 or more. That's his philosophy and I sorta agree with it.

I don't hate the new Rising Rivals set. It's sort of a good spread, with much scope for tactics in TCG... but the possibility of being able to pull out a basic Alakazam or Infernape offends my senses a bit... does anyone else thing it's just wrong!? I'm obviously too conservative...

I don't really get it--SP is pretty much identical to VS. Only real difference is that it doesn't take up the entire set. So what was the deal with VS and how is it that we weren't ready then but are now?
