I'm pretty happy I never bought Platinum, I can now get HGSS and get the same features from that game for free.

On the other hand, I can see why people who bought Platinum would be annoyed with repeat Brains instead of something new.
 
Doesn't matter.

The battle frontier is about 0.2% of what this game is about, IMO.
 
I just got Platinum recently, but I don't really mind. It's their loss in the end, having the chance to do something interesting and add more characters to the ever-expanding pool. Shame they did nothing at all, having such a perfect opportunity. And maybe we could've had a more interesting Brain lineup.

Oh well. Not a gamebreaking feature, so I don't care all that much.
 
Annoyed, I didn't buy Platinum, but I just don't like the Frontier Brains from Platinum in the first place - I think they're kind of lacking compared to the more outrageous designs from Emerald's Brains.

Though I didn't tamper much with it in Platinum, so it'll be a bit fresh for me.
 
i feel very sad, upset about it, BUT... you know how people are, nowadays. if you complain (state your opinion, in my vocabulary), you get bashed, so i won't say anything else.
 
They didn't even have to make new characters, either. They could have just had Esuine, DJ Mary, Sakura & Tamao, Earl, and Kiyo as the Frontier Brains at at least it would have added some variety and probably some more interesting characters to the Johto BF.
 
I hoped they had made new characters, but I don't want people to think I'm "whining" so I'll just say it's disappointing for me and nothing can be done.

That's because many people are stating their opinion in an incredibly immature matter. It's not what you bash, it's how you bash it.

But, how are they at two places at once? I guess, they move after Dawn/Lucas swipes the floor with them..

Teleport. Let's overlook gameplay mechanics for a while. Realistically, Teleport would allow you to be anywhere in a matter of seconds, as long as you've seen that place before, or can calculate coordinates. It varies with each personal interpretation, but yes. I don't think teleporting between Regions is nigh impossible.

There's something to wonder about. What about Palmer? Outside of a couple tidbits (Such as Fantina pointing out Dahlia's dancing prowess somewhere), most Brains are detached enough from Platinum's plot, besides Palmer. I won't say he's integral, but he's too embedded to Sinnoh for him to suddenly start taking Tower Tycoon positions elsewhere. He was there since Diamond/Pearl, even. I wonder how will they deal with that...

If I would have already bothered with the Battle Frontier in Platinum I'd be pretty pissed off. As I haven't, I couldn't really care, but I still think it's a lame and lazy move on GF's part.
 
Isn't it obvious that we are just gonna take a boat to the fight area and enter the Battle Frontier from there? I mean, there is no other logical explanation.
 
It's the same Frontier people.
I'm NOT looking forward to completing that 170-win streak...
 
I've had Platinum since June, and have yet to even touch the BF. It really doesn't interest me too much to be honest. Also, I do feel that the designs in general of the Platinum brains were kinda lame, so I mean I guess I'm pissed a bit since I would've liked cooler brains, but it doesn't affect me in the least.

Same, but after the plot has been finished, and the Elite Four beaten, I do become a bit of a completionist, and I just beat Platinum's Frontier Brains so I could get that extra star, and now it seems I'll need to repeat the same completioning again...

And redoing the Battle Hall will be HELL!
That took so long, and was so stressful! Any battle, any slip up, and all that work is gone!
