I'm just wondering how you say it:
Pok-ay-mon (supposed to be correct),
Pok-ee-mon,
Pok-uh-mon,
or some way totally different.

It could go either way with Pok-ah-mon or Pok-ee-mon, but I voted Pok-ee-mon, and now I'm having second thoughts, because it might be Ah, not Ee.

Wasn't there a topic like this already? .___.
Ah well. I used to always say it as Pok-uh-mon, but now I've begun pronouncing it as Pog-ey-mans Pok-ay-mon. xD

I didn't know there was a thread like this one... oops. :-|

I alternate all the time, but I tend to use "Pok-uh-mon." It's how my friend used to say it, even if it has no basis whatsoever.

I say pok-ee-mon. I can't help it. I learned that way, and It stuck that way. :-|

I pronounce it pockemon (poke is like "pocke" in pocket and mon like in monster). That's what they do in the anime to, so I still say it that way. I've heard that before the anime was released outside Japan there was an episode where Pokemon was spelled in english letters and was spelled Pockemon. I know people think that is strange, but even if it doesn't look very good it is still logic. Pokemon is after all Engrish, since "poke" is from poketto (pocket).

Same. Only recently I've started saying "Poke-ay-mon" more often.

I only used to pronouce it like that when I was in a major discussion, but anymore I've started to say "Poke-ay-mon" about as much as I say "Poke-ee-mon."

Wow I'm surprised to see that the most voted was "poke-ee-mon"!
I always thought serious fans found that way insulting! I actually still find it insulting.
I'm amazed when I go to cons, or meet someone who claims to like Pokémon and then they say "poke-ee-mon".

I thought the default way of saying it correctly was "poke-uh-mon". That's the way anyone I know says it.
I used to say "poh kay mon" on account of the accented e (é), and it's even said that way sometimes in the first season. But also in the first season it's said "poke-uh-mon", specifically I remember "Professor Oak! Where's my [poke-uh-mon]?".

I always pronounce it ぽけもん.

Weeaboo.
One of the things I was going to post, but didn't, because I thought everyone'd be a reasonable english speaker when speaking with english-speakers,
went like "I used to think it was proper to say it the japanese way, since in Japan they call it "po-ke-mo-n". But then I remembered that I speak english."
I am surprised that in localising it, they didn't pronounce it "pock-eh-mon" since it's POCKet monsters, not poh-ket.
