Just a thought for the comic affectionados out there. Personally, I don't really do much other than the Ultimate X-Men, the Ultimates and when I feel like it, Ultimate Spider-Man (I have, over the years of my youth picked up the odd set of 616 books - mostly X-men, but the Ultimate Universe has sucked me in so well, don't think I'd really enjoy the main series that much now).
However, I only buy the collections, the hardback volume where I can but mostly the smaller paperback volumes instead. I enjoy reading as much as I can in one go and considering I blast through the hardback volumes in one day anyway, I couldn't possibly stand reading just one small portion of that and then waiting for the rest.
Am I alone in this or does mostly everyone else pick up the individual releases as they come and go?
