How do you think Nemona would cope if she was rendered unable to battle?

One of the key traits of Nemona’s character is that she loves Pokémon battling, and never passes up an opportunity to battle. So I was thinking about this potential idea for a fanfic that sprung to me… what if something happened to Nemona that left her completely unable to battle at all?

Maybe Nemona is involved in an accident that inflicts severe damage to her vocal cords, rendering her unable to speak - and I imagine that trying to Pokémon battle without the ability to give vocal commands would be like trying to fight with two broken arms. Point is - Nemona is no longer able to do the one thing she loves most. How would she cope?
 
This is the same series Ash got away with dying several times in. Nemoma will find a way to be healed from all damages. She has a lot of Pokémon, a lot of friends, and the entire nature of Pokémon's world to help her out until she is permanently dead.
 
In the anime series there was a trainer who can command with pokemons by mind, just like telepathy. The anime official setting is "by the bond between them".
No vocal commands? You can always try body language, stamping your feet clapping your hands, something like that. Or you can use some machines to help. The computer system in the pokemon world is more advanced than our world's. And even Dr Hawking could speak via our world's silly computer...
Being Nemona, she will probably try all the options that might allow her battle before give up.
The only possibility I see is PTSD. Say if one of her pokemon was killed in an official battle, for example.
