I noticed that misty has a very small bag.
How does that work exactly?

I mean, she has to carry clothes around not to meantion a sleeping bag and all her Pokeballs (since I don't think she ever uses her pockets).
Then, sometimes, she carries Togepi in it and Togepi would probably take up the whole space. Does this mean she takes out all her stuff before putting Togepi in her bag or what?

Anime Physics. It's the same way Brock keeps a dinette and barbecue in his backpack.

The magic of television, my friend, the magic of television.

It's the same way Brock can carry a frickin' table around in addition to pots and pans, medicine, Pokémon food ingredients and cans, etc.

Re: Question

it really doesn't have to make sence, but just as Misty has a bag-o-wounders, brock has a bigger one. Those items he have are endless!

-Anime (confusing, but we love ya ;) )

Re: Question

yeah, I always wondered why they werent breaking their backs carrying all that stuff they should have. And what about May's little pouch? and she had what, 8 bathing suits?

Re: Question

In the Pokemon world, collapsible bicycles are able to fit in waist-bags.
translation?
MOVIE MAGIC

Re: Question

Bikes and Tables make a bit more sense.
For one thing, in the anime world bikes have never been shown to fit in backpack.
For another most of the tables seem to be the kinds they place in parks so people can sit and eat.
Besides there are collapsible bikes and tables that they could easily use especially in their futuristic universe.

Re: Question

We're talking about a world where a whale can be contained in tiny, baseball-sized sphere. Having a backpack capable of carrying all sorts of different things isn't that farfetched.

Also, I changed the title of this thread. Please don't use such gimmicky thread titles in the future, coolcatkim22.

It's called Hammerspace, derived from the common anime practice of pulling a large mallet from a small space, usually to whack someone on the head with. What was the thread title before Dogasu changed it, btw?

which come to the off topic question...

Where does Amy(sonic x) store her Hammer o_O

Netwon must keep a space ship in his bag then. If Brock and Misty can fit all that stuff into their bags and his is twice their size, he must have some pretty big things in there.

I never asked myself this question because I know that it is a TV show and just about anything is possible. But I did notice that Misty had lots of things in her bag such as five swimsuits, a mirror, Pokeballs, a pink towel, a pink jacket, a pink poncho, and quite a few other things.

Well she has a magic bagpack, Like every anime character has. It is a anime you know.

In one Star Trek computer game, characters have suits with a portable transporter buffer that allows them to store multiple objects in a "null space." Misty's backpack may have a built-in transporter buffer.

Read this theory on a fanfiction. Apparently, the people in the Pokémon universe make use of the move Secret Power to make the bag more spacious. Just like how you would a tree or an indent in the wall.

Probably does for every characters' bag anyway. How else would you fit all your stuff in that travel bag or backpack?

Though that would beg the question: how do you carry all that without breaking your back?

Maybe Silph/Devon co. make trainers bags so EVERYTHING can fit in one bag....

Vacuum storage.

Also, I don't think that the grill you often see Brock cooking on is neccessarily his all the time. Many parks have grills set up where you can bring your own charcoal and cook on them.
