Well...not so great.

Here is what the ratings looked like before the shif (Source):

October 10th, 2009 - 2.3/10
October 17th, 2009 - 1.9/8
October 24th, 2009 - 2.5/11
October 31st, 2009 - 2.4/10

And now, after:

November 7th, 2009 - 1.0/9
November 14th, 2009 - 1.2/11
November 21st, 2009 - 1.3/12
November 28th, 2009 - 1.4/6

What all those numbers basically mean is that the show has lost a substantial number of its viewing audience since the shift to 7:00am.

It really makes you wonder what plans, if any, CN has for the show.

I know that they're trying to overall boost their ratings for Saturday morning, and according to this it seems to be working for them.

But plans for the show itself? No idea.

You forgot to mention the latest ratings just added this morning.

December 5th, 2009 - 1.2/13

But there is more than one way to look at the ratings. For one thing, the total share of viewers has remained roughly the same the whole time. It's also worth noting that on November 21st, Pokemon outperformed Yu-gi-oh 5d's at 7:30 AM on the same network. And on December 5th, Pokemon outperformed both Ben 10: Alien Force (8:00 AM). So I think the fact that a 7:00 AM show does better than a 7:30 AM show, and an 8:00 AM show says a great deal.

Um...that's a press release for a movie that premiered on a Wednesday night. That wouldn't have any effect on Saturday mornings at all.

Speaking of Saturday mornings...Cartoon Network is dead last in the ratings. Even Disney XD, a network that has a much smaller install base, is beating CN.

They must have *just* been added, because they hadn't been posted when I made this thread.

I hate the fact that they've moved times. I can't even watch the show anymore. I'm not up that early. xD

Bring back Toonami. Then the raitings will go back up.

You guys think you have a problem with the airing if the show? in the last 4 years or so it has changed channels at least three times here (meaning i missed a whole chunk of episodes) and it airs like four times in a day but repeating old episodes

Eh, those numbers are about what you'd get expect for a 7:00am timeslot. At least it's doing pretty well there. Cartoon Network still being last is nothing new.

Who knows what CN is thinking these days. My first thought when the move happened is that the ratings would drop enough so they could justify to PCI why they wouldn't pick up anymore seasons of the show. But if it's doing pretty well relatively speaking...

Well, preparing for the worst, I still wouldn't be shocked if they dumped the show. 7:00am is never where you want to air new episodes of any show.

Saturday mornings. Not Saturday nights.

It was actually at the bottom of that post, but I see how the ratings are lower now.

Maybe it'll get its time slot back in January?

You'd think with numbers like these they'd move it back to the original time. I mean come on CN, your other shows are doing weak.

Considering the Galactic Battles season is almost over, wouldn't CN know by now if they're picking up the next season?

Its really a shame about the timeshift, and I know I haven't really felt motivated to get up at 7:00 am on a saturday, even if it is only a hour earlier than I normally get up.

I wonder why they would dump the show? Its not like they have tons of other top rated content fighting for air time? Unless they want to add more CN original series.

This.

Anyway, it was really stupid of CN to move Pokemon's time slot to 7 in the morning. I think the reason why the ratings went down is because (most) Pokemon viewers aren't even awake at 7 AM. Why CN did that is beyond me.

The dub is not close the end of the season yet. The last ep to air was DP 134. Unless I am thinking wrong, the dub's current season will end with the next ep in Japan, the Gible Dragon Meteor ep.

Wow, CN is really killing this show. Killing it to death.

Yeah, Galactic Battles still has about 20 episodes left, which is 5 months worth, not close at all.

THIS IS FOR YOU CARTOON NETWORK!

I can't understand why Cartoon Network wouldn't change it back with ratings getting worse? I also wonder why they keep showing that craptastic Hot Wheels show. I mean WHO IS WATCHING THAT.....THAT THING?

That is amazing ascii art.

That said, if CN drops Pokemon, it's a safe bet Disney XD will swoop in and pick it up like they did Naruto. Disney's probably wanted their chance at a piece of the Pokepie for years now.

Well at the very least, I'm sure all of Sinnoh will be dubbed.

There was always the possibility that the dub would end before the show ends in Japan. After all, who honestly thought Pokemon would run for over 12+ years?
