How is it that I don't have permission to delete my own blog entries?

My old thread seems to have died, and as I do not wish to double-post, I saw no other real choice except to make a new thread.

I have a blog entry set to post itself on the first of October, but I decided after the fact that the entry really isn't necessary. So I went to delete it...

...and I got this:

"You do not have permission to access this page!"


What. The. Heck.

Someone, anyone, please help me!

Then your best bet is to ask an admin to delete it or overwrite it with a regular blog.
 
Please forgive the double post—if I had not done so, no one would have seen my new predicament.

I apparently am not allowed to delete any of my blog entries, regardless of when they are posted. What the @#$%& is going on here?!

If my ability to delete my blog entries cannot be restored, then would a moderator kindly delete the entry "Glitchipedia: The Man, The Myth, The Moron" from my blog for me? Thanks.
 
I would gladly do that. Except I don't have permission to delete your blog posts.

I'm looking into the permissions issues behind this and will get back to you when I figure out what's up.
 
Well damn... even an admin can't do it? Thats screwed up, but I think I know the problem, there are things such as blog moderators in the vBulletin Blog software so you may have to be one of them to do it. Hope that helped! :))

Well yeah, but admins are supposed to have control over all aspects. As far as I know, Chosen of Mana is the only blog mod.
 
Link me to a specific one that you want me to try and delete. I seem to have the power, so it's just a matter of tracking down what the weirdness is that's preventing everyone else do it, since it's certainly enabled for you in the admin panel.

Do you have a delete button on your screen when you go to edit a blog post?
 
I can delete my own blogs...Don't you just click edit and delete message?
