How is season 10 so far for you? Did it match any of your expectations?

I love Pokemon, i like Hikari, i like pikachu, i like the DP pokemon... but the DP tv show it isn't great so far... the episode are not funny at all.. i miss the old pokemon episode (Kanto, Johto)
 
Yes, I really like the storyline of D/P, and of course, the Pokemon are great too! ^_^

But obviously, there is one thing I don't like about season 10, and well, I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about here. ;-)
 
I like it, lots of episodes have caught my eye, I noticed how they going back to the earlier ideas and now taking them to the next level which surprised me most, and some unexpected twists.
 
I am really enjoying this saga. Ash/Dawn/Brock being the good old trio agian is nice. Dawns a fun new character. Ash new team rocks and I like Brocks team too. Paul is also the best addition to the cast of characters ever. So yes I like it and look forward to the rest of the saga.
 
So far, so good. I think that Paul makes the perfect rival for Ash. He is the exact opposite of him and it makes their battles that much more interesting. I wonder what made Paul act this way?
 
I like the character Dawn because the writers are handling her better then May and Misty! I also like Cynthia because not only is she the first female champion but she is the first champion the show ever made a big deal about! (Lance dosn't count)
The story has improved and the some of the episodes are more memorable like the one where Jessie finally won a contest!
 
I love it.

We don't get enough episodes in Canada though. We get a new DP once every Saturday, and a Battle Frontier rerun every weekday morning. DP019 is comin' up this Saturday.
 
For me, I dont like it yet.....at least by far not as much as all the previous seasons.

these are just my personal opinions.....
- well i dont really like Ash's team so far, i think he needs to evolve
- Ash is losing too much, it makes no sense considering his record since Orange Islands
- the graphics might have improved, or they just changed, but I personally enjoyed the older style graphics better.
- other than the game remix/old/ BGM's, i find the new BGM's for D&P ineffective and they are nvr used more than once.
- Brock needs more pokemon
- Dawn is alright, but one day i hope Ash does not meet newbie trainers anymore but instead will continue a new region with old friends....similar to Johto(one of the reasons why i liked it the best)
- yea the writers are handling Dawn more....but not necessarily better. They are just putting more focus on her....which is what they should have done with Misty since she was not a coordinator. Plus one thing i dont get about contests in the anime is, if they lose theyll have to wait til the next one, unlike Gym battles where you can just rematch. So how will a coordinator ever be able to attain all ribbons if the writers choose to do so for a given character.
- and last of all, i just have to agree with Lisa.......and everyone should know what that is lol

But i do like some things
- i like how the elite four is involved more, and hopefully they're a foreshadow of a possible elite four battle
- Paul, although easy to hate, is a great asset the character list. His rivalry with Ash is unmatched, it is one of the best parts about D&P. He's also the only new character that i didnt have to "get used to", i immediately enjoyed his presence in the anime.

I agree on some points, but not on others. I do not understand why Ash needs to evolve. He's fine the way he is.

Although, I'd like to see it. ASH grew to level 36. ASH is evolving! ASH evolved into ASH

Honestly, I'm a little underwhelmed by this season. I'm not much a fan of the new characters/rivals being introduced, I can't stand Paul or Zoey at all. Dawn's OK so far, but not great in my opinion.

Though when this season gets things right, it gets them right. Episodes like the one with Mismagius, the Gardenia and Cheryl episodes were all really, really good.

LOLOL oops i meant his pokemon...obviously. I was thinking of Staravia, and at least one of the starters. Bottom line is, he needs to win more.....with pokemon he has right now, and like other have mentioned "1-50 in the sinnoh dex arent exactly powerhouses" his chances dont seem very high unless he gets stronger pokemon. Personally i would love to see his old pokemon again, they're strong, they have great personalities, and it would be a great chance for Dawn to meet them and understand what Ash is capable of and how much he has gone through. Right now, i dont think Dawn really knows Ash that well, just another trainer.

what Lisa and I mean are the VA's for Ash/Brock/TR
