How likely is it that Ash will start liking girls before the series is over?

I know you can claim that he liked Misty, May, Dawn, Angie, etc...various ships. But more often than not, the girl is shown to have more evidence of liking Ash than he does in a romantic way.

But do you guys ever think we will see indisputable evidence that he loves any of the girls in his life? I know he had a crush on Geiselle or whatever her name was waaaay back in the day, but I'm talking about a full-fledged romance with someone.

I'm surprised with all the time Ash has spent around Brock that Ash hasn't at least shown interest in more females.

Or will he just continue to be the same, 'dont have time for girls' boy for the rest of the show? Will he ever really kiss a girl during the show? Will he ever go on a date?
 
The way I see it, he's obsessed with pokemon currently in the show, it'll be a while before he does fall in love.
 
Keep in mind that this is a kids' show. Kids want to see cute little monsters killing each other, not cute little girls with boy problems regarding the already stuish main character.

And if he does fall in love, assuming he ever will, it will probably be near the end if not AT the end of the series.
 
No, because he's gay because this is a kids show. Kids don't care about romance.
 
Not likely at all. That's not what this part of the franchise is aimed for.

That's why even with newer characters like Anabel and Angie, the writers still don't have Ash figure out girls who like him.

In fact Ash will probably die single. Yep.

hes not dense...just young. i guess since aging in the anime is nonexistent, ash will always stay ten...therefore not like girls.

I don't think that. I think they grow up more slow than normal people. We see them only 22 minutes per week. I think nearly the end or in a movie or something
 
Well that's truth, if Ash kiss Dawn, there will be trouble between Pokeshippers, Advanceshippers vs Pearlshippers, if Ash kiss May, there will be a trouble between Pearlshippers, Pokeshippers vs Advanceshippers, if Ash kiss Misty, there will be a trouble between Pearlshippers, Advanceshippers vs Pokeshippers. No people will be safe. The broccoli will rule, there will be blood, chaos in bulbagarden and serebii.net forums, hundreds and hundreds of people and avocados will die. epa! epa! EPA!. Nah, Pokemon's more of an adventure story. They may have some love subplots, but none that will ever go anywhere.
 
I think his obliviousness is part of his charm really XD But TBH, I think this is less likely to happen than...well, anything.

1. It's a kids show. Satoshi is the one with whom the majority of the audience relates to, and since they a bunch of littl'uns who are probably not in love/whatever, it'll just alienate them.
2. It's part of his character. I think that he's just too devoted to Pokemon and gyms and his adventure. He's 10, come on, what more can you expect from the poor boy?!
 
Yeah but it is a children anime it's not like it's an actual teen anime though I think the manga is funny besides the shippings really haven't been shown in the anime well besdies advance and contest which was mostly shown in Hoenn and Battle Frontier but Ash is still an immature kid who focuses on getting to be friends with his pokemon which haven't even hit thier second or final forms

It would just seem too out of character at this point for him to start liking anyone that way and it's not a focus in his life. Pokemon are. He's so wound up in it that for all he knows "romance" is a pokemon.

Although I support PokéShipping I think he's probably asexual.
