How Lucky Were You At Catching Legendaries...?

So, how lucky were you at catching any of the legendaries? For me, I saw Entei in the wild grass straight after the Bell Tower, but I wasn't prepared, so I couldn't capture it. Also, I caught Ho-Oh with MY FIRST ULTRA BALL!

I wasn't lucky at all.
I needed 7 resets (12 Ultra Balls each) to catch Ho-Oh.

Not that lucky. I wasted a lot of Ultra Balls on Entei (keeps escaping or Roaring), Raikou (same as Entei), and Lugia (finally caught in, of all things, a Fast Ball).

Considering I was 10+ levels lower than Ho-oh when I caught it, I'd say I was fairly lucky in catching it a few times, really.

My real unlucky part was getting an alright nature for it. I'd constantly either get a neutral nature or bold ._.

When taking on Lugia, I threw ONE heavy ball and caught it. I was surprised!

Most legendaries came quietly. Raikou was difficult. Working on snagging Latias with a level ball and a lv100 Flygon now.

Update on Latias: Love Balls, Fast Balls, Level Balls, none of them worked. She stayed in a Dusk Ball.

All of them I've encountered so far were caught without much trouble. I was expecting Mewtwo and Ho-Oh (level 70) to take the longest, but Zapdos has put up the biggest fight so far.

it took me over 6 hrs to capture... i have not even tried any others i fear that i have always had the same problem with all legendaries........

Assuming we're not counting SRing for natures/stats/IVs, I'm pretty lucky. I got HG Lugia without damaging it in 4 tries

I was very lucky! Raikou and Entai were easily caught with a master ball from Emerald, same with Latias. Lugia was caught with very few Ultra Balls, Groudon was easy as well, the 3 legendary birds were also easy, except for Moltres who would kill itself with Struggle! Mewtwo/ Ho-oh were caught with only use of 1 Ultra Ball!

I've only caught Ho-oh so far (only used 2 ultra balls).

I waste over 20 Ultra balls, at least 10 great balls, and some apricorn balls, and I still couldn't catch Lugia. I reset like 5 times. Every time he'd eventually waste his PP and end up killing himself while using Struggle. I was so tempted to use the Master Ball. I decided to leave to try again later.

The exact same thing happened when I tried to catch Moltres.

I've ran into Latias and Raikou, but I didn't even bother trying to catch them.

When I caught Kyogre, I weakened it a little, then I used an Ultra Ball. caught it with the first one. I did the same thing with Shaymin on Platinum.

I captured Entei whit my second Fast Ball, after 3 Dragon Rages and a Thunder Wave, Raikou took the whole night, but I got it at least, Lugia were captured pretty fast to, only used 8 dusk balls, and thats all I got for now.

I've only gone after Lugia so far and he wasn't too bad, a little harder than I would have liked but not awful. Raikou and Entei have shown up in my face a few times with no success but I'll get them.

I caught both Entei and Raikou in the same hour, and I wasn't even looking for them. Just as well, on my way to the Power Plant to catch Zapdos, I ran into Latios for the first time.

I caught Ho-Oh after resetting once, and my reset only took about 4 ultra balls. Raikou I caught completely by accident - I ran into him 6 times in one day. All times were without looking, and about 4/6 were on Route 45. On the 6th encounter, I luckily had Spinarak in front, so I Spider Webbed and caught him after 4 Fast Balls.

Ok, Lugia was master balled, Suicune cost me EVERY single Poke ball I had. But I was really happy just 15 minutes ago when I caught Ho-oh with ONE Ultra Ball!
