How many episodes do you think Galactic will get when all is said and done?

People have been posting about this for awhile, but now that we're past Snowpoint, (and we know the next eps are Brandon and Paul centered for awhile), how much screentime will Galactic get?

DP has about 133 confirmed titles so far, and out of that span Team Galactic have been in only 6 episodes. Technically its only 4 arcs, since two of them were 2-parters.

So even as it stands, the writers have only given us 6 Galactic-themed episodes out of a total of 133 episodes. Pokehunter J eps count as her own eps, even if she might later be involved with Galactic in some form.

With only one Gym left at Sunyshore, and Sinnoh possibly wrapping up in late 2009, how much screentime do you think Galactic will get? I have to say at this point I'm not expecting too much, but they should get a 2-parter at the last lake where the Ash Vs. Paul match takes place, and maybe another 3-parter to wrap it all up.

I'm hoping they get enough screentime to give a good climax to the whole TG plot. It's sad that they were introduced so lately into the season, and only got these few episodes. I find that their episodes are very interesting (..and that's not because i'm a total TG nerd, ahahaha. )

But yeah. I don't really expect the writers to give us much, sadly as it sounds. We'll mostly get the snowpoint lake, and then the Mt. Cornet finale where it all wraps up. And hopefully the finale will be a couple of episodes. 3+ at least.

People are hoping for Jupiter to be at Acuity (which she should be; she's only had one very brief appearence so far), so that would be one...Cynthia has to show up again and find out about Cyrus, and I can't see that happening *ON* Spear Pillar...


What I'm really hoping for, between Spear Pillar and Battle Island, is for the twerps to meet the woman in Sunyshore. You all know what I mean.
(although actually what I REALLY REALLY want is for SATURN to meet her)

As for TG, I'd love for them to appear loads more but at most I'm hoping for a 2 parter and then 3 part finale. It's a shame they were introduced so late into the series.

I sometimes think Pokehunter J is what ate up some Galactic screentime. If J never existed, we probably would have gotten Galactic eps in her place.

Like most people I love Pokehunter J, but I do think Galactic has been oddly sidelined because of her.

You maybe have a point, but Galactic for the fact they haven't really done much, still feel more involved than Aqua/Magma and I wouldn't take back J for anything.

It doesn't seem like they're going to be getting that many more episodes at this point. I can imagine them being at Acuity and Mt. Coronet...and that's pretty much it.

What I want to have happen with J is her realize exactly what their plan is, extrapolate that she's not invited to the new universe, and head to Spear Pillar to lay the smack down on Cyrus's big plan (possibly resulting in the portal to the Distortion World?)

What I'm wondering is if they'll HAVE the DW in the show considering they already played out basically the same thing in movie 11.

If they're not in that Uxie episode, I think its time to get concerned.

I always thought Jupiter would get a solo episode like Saturn and Mars got, but now I'm not so sure.

I would say 2-3 eps for the final showdown with Cyrus and then (maybe) some eps with Charon and Looker.

It would be great if the Final Face-off with Cyrus at the Spear Pillar was 3 or 4 episodes, but it seems like it’s only going to be 2 at this rate like Team Aqua/Magma. That would be a shame. Cyrus and Team Galactic are too good of villains in the world of Pokémon to be given that kind of treatment.

Would have been the perfect time to see them appear given its been awhile since their last eps.

How do you know they're not in that ep. For all we know, they could be in there. They don't have to show every little thing in the preview you know?

Yeah, but usually Galactic-centric episodes are heavily promoted. Most of the ep looks like Dawn and Team Rocket even are cheering Ash up, while Brock sees Uxie.

If they do appear, they can't do much because the next ep is a Tangrowth filler.

Exactly. Centric episodes. This isn't a Ginga-Dan centric episode. There's no reason they couldn't have a quick cameo to move their plot along.

I highly doubt it's a filler since it involves Manmoo and Hikari.
