How many pets have you owned?

^ title says much.

My count is 0; my family currently lives in an apartment and thus no pets.
lulz, why did I start this thread

Still, just saying, my parents each have raised a fair number of pets when they were young ; dad had at least three dogs, and mom's family raised at least a dog and five rabbits.
 
i had 4 cats and 3 fish as a child. then we gave away one and the others died (=[)we adopted 3 more cats. now i live with my boyfriend and we have one little darling kitty =]
so all together that makes 11
 
I have had over the course of my 20yrs of life:

1 rolly polly bug (named Herman :3 actually i would name all rolly pollies Herman...)
??? amphibians (wild toads and wild geckos mostly)
3 fish
5 birds
10 dogs
and...26 cats o_o'
 
I've had 5 cats,
1 dog,
16 gerbils,
3 hamsters,
2 guinea pigs,
3 outside goldfish,
20+ tropical fish,
and 5 rabbits.

I've had two pet fish.
 
I've had a cat, and six frogs, but right now, just a dog. The others all died.
 
-A chow-chow when I was very young named Fanny, that we had to put to sleep because she was savage in my presence;
-A St. Bernard named Beethoven (named after a film series featuring a St. Bernard named Beethoven. Original, I know). He died of a heart attack when he was 15, I was probably 5 or 6 at the time.
-A mix between a labrador and a golden retriever named Sandy, that we got when I was around 4. She died of a generalized cancer when I was about 11;
-A bernese mountain dog named Chico, that we got not long after we got Sandy. He died last year of what we assume is a cancer;
-A mix between a labrador and a golden retriever (this one was golden) named Daisy that we got as a gift when Sandy died, and she's the only one alive right now.

Right now we also have a cat named Cooper (after the car brand).

And if I count those owned by my sister, a black Labrador named Saske that she got as a gift when she moved out, although she gave it back not long after. And about 20 goldfishs that never lived older than 3 weeks.

Oh, and about 5 guinea pigs when I was very young, but I don't really remember them.
 
Too many goldfish and tropical fish to count, two budgies (not at the same time), and a hamster. And my sister had a turtle once.
Right now all I have are a few tropical fish.
 
I have had several fish, a parakeet named Ishmael and a turtle named Milly in my timeperiod.
 
My parents have had a dog since before I was born, she's really old now, and we've got five (I think) fish in our pond.
 
I've had multiple fish and birds, 2 previous dogs and a cat. I currently have 3 birds, 6 fish a beagle named Gemma and sibling cats one called neo (from the matrix. Named by my brother)the other nala(from the lion king, named by me)
