how many points until temporary or permanant ban?

It isn't really dependant on how many infraction points you receive, but how much you manage to royally piss off the mods/admins.
 
Perma-banned. He wasn't happy about it, either. lol

I really doubt you'll reach that point. Anyways, from what I've observed, you either need to be a troll, spammer, or just plain ignorant to get permanetly banned.

Of course, i'm not a mod here, but I am at other places, and yeah.. the rules are usually the same.
