hey everyone, i wanted to know if i am the only one with this problem.i have broken tons of AR cards.(probly spent more than 200 bucks on them:ching::ching::ching:).do you have this same problem. share with me how many time you have had to by a new ar because your last one broke. also what is your all time fave code( post the actuall code if you like):bash::bash::dumb::dumb::bash::bash::dumb::dumb:

I've only been trough 2. Not sure why the first stopped working, but I went a long time without using it and I always thought thats what it was. I only used it for DPPt. I never used it in HGSS or BW

Even my RBYGSC action replay for the game boy color still works, but ive lost one due to it not working and it was for the DS.

I hope the 3DS gets an AR

I had a old slot one from 07 which wouldn't update, and my DSi has a weird glitch where it always reads the list from the MicroSD slot.

My friend's one, however, had a broken cart slot.

@sonic10158 The DSi one works in DS mode on the 3ds.

It wasn't until the third post until i realized what you were talking about. I thought you meant the AR cards for the Pokedex3D, but i couldn't figure out why you'd spend $200 on something you just print out yourself.

Anyway, i don't use an Action Replay cuz, i dunno, ethics and stuff. But if they break that easily, then i guess it's a good thing i don't use them.

I'm not sure if mines broke, but when I add codes into my HeartGold they won't work, but I'm guess I might have to just update it.

When I first got one, I had a few issues entering codes where I ended up wiping every single code from the thing xD. I managed to fix it eventually though.

the first AR i got didn't work at all. i was so bummed.

i bought myself a second one, which lasted me a while. it finally just stopped working one day.

my most recent one is still alive and running well. i love it. \o/

My first one fell off my bed, my second one met it's fate at the hands of my dog, my third one fell apart. ._.;;

Oh Action Replay.....you are a strange tempest to master. It's really almost an art! I have had two in my entire gaming experience. The first I had for my DS lite for about 4 years and it was great. The only reason it stopped working was, I think, because I had worn out the metal part on the back that slides into the DS. My new one is about 40x better than my old one and works just fine.

They are sensitive pieces of equipment which don't respond well to pushing and shoving the thing into your DS while screaming "WORK, DARN YOU!" which may be the reason many people's break. ^.^

My favorite code would have to be the Wild Pokemon Modifier Codes. I used that thing like crazy in D/P/Pt! I used it to obtain the missing starters I had by setting them for level five on the Route you would get them from Professor Rowan regularly, so it would look like I got them as a starter. I didn't do any outrageous cheats, like level 100 Arceus on the first Route.

Now, in B/W, I just use the 999x medicine for the rare candies that I use sparingly. Rare Candy pumped Pokemon have horrible stats at the end, it's just better to train them and maybe a supplimentary candy here and there.

I managed to get through five of the DS ones because they kept "blanking" out on me until the last one I bought. They are pretty flimsy devices and I only ever used the GBA one for R/S/E and the DS ones for D/P/PL, but I haven't used any since and would never again.

I went through like, 5 of them, and I handle them carefully. It's just one day it says:

"All of your codes has been erased 'cause I hate you." Not really.

First one I think broke was one I had for the GBA. For some reason never cheated on any of the main games like Firered or Emerald, but more cheated on Pokemon Pinball SR.

They all just hate me. They like hate me so much.

I've been through 3 that have bit the dust, my 4th is outdated due to firmware upgrade issues, and I just got my 5th a few days ago.

I've only had 1. And I would always get the codes wrong, so one day it just decided to stop working on me. Meanie.
