just wondering how many times everyone has traded with wi-fi. it seems like ive traded twenty times, but its probably only been like twelve or thirteen.
 
I go to the GTS occasionally, probably more than 10 times but not that often, so "A lot" wouldn't really be an accurate descriptor. But I have done my fair share of GTS trading, mostly to get the starters I didn't pick (though I had to get Totodile from a friend in SS because there's no other way to see the starter that neither you nor your rival chooses during the single player campaign).

i have to use an Ethernet cable to get my interenet, no wireless, so
i traded a phione for a raquaza at my freind's house
and i traded a meothw for a growlithe at a hotel
 
My friend wanted to get all the trade-to-evolve post-nationaldex evo's, so he traded them to me. I got them all in my dex that way ^^
 
So let's see... Diamond: 476 times, Platinum: 78 times and HeartGold: 123 times. That's much more than I thought o__o.
 
If GTS trades count, then I probably did a rather large amount of trades. I did slightly more than 60 in HeartGold.

What I did in diamond was breed hordes of spiritombs and trade them on GTS for pokemon I needed for my dex. This method probably accounted for more than half my dex. Plus many trades with my friend. Plus trading alot of my pokemon to Platinum and SS. I don't know the number, but I know it broke 300. And I probably have 300-400 combined in my platinum and soulsilver.
 
I've traded a lot, but not over wifi. Mainly over Local wireless.
 
Too many to count...hahaha :D I've done a ton with my friends too, and some little kids at my swim club :3 this kid who is 6 hacked his game so all his Pokemon were shiny and at level 97. Why level 97?? Who knows :D

How I can convince the someone over the web that a Pikachu knows Surf when you can't see the moveset? (I have spares if anyone wants one)
 
Don't have the game with me at the moment, but in Platinum I'm nearly at the 999 link trades threshold... mainly from trading with myself to and from my other games (Diamond, SoulSilver), though.

It doesn't go beyond 999 trades? Aw, bummer. Stupid size limits, I'll hit that limit soon (just like the gameplay time limit).
