So, how much do you think the 3DS will be? I reckon it will be just above the price of the DSi, maybe about £179.99.

Probably under 200. If it was over, then it would drive away a lot of the parents who buy game systems for their 5 year olds.

Nothing under 200$, but nothing beyond 275$, most likely.

Just so you know, Zorua's £179.99 equals $265.26, which is a pretty good guess. Back before the XL came out, pre-ordering it cost $200. DSs are getting more expensive quite quickly. It appears to be going up around $30 each, so my guess is around $230. Nothing greater that $250, though.

$200 to $250 I expect. Nintendo can't expect to sell them fast if they price them insanely high.

I want it to be $225.

If it's anything way off from that, I'll skip on it until I really need to convert.

Well, in NZ DSi's are around $380NZD, around $265USD
From this I'm thinking for me it'll be $400NZD around $280USD. Things are expensive over here

I'll be more reasonable with my want then most of you.

I want the game to be at a max of $200 (it really wouldn't be that hard to get, I have ~$70 now (for spare spending, even though I have $200 in the bank I sure as hell am not touching that money until I get a job), I can see myself getting $130 rather easily if I just save my money and don't spend it. If I get $40 a month from now until December I should have about $310 which should be more than enough to by a 3DS.

How much will I think it will cost? ~$250 dollars.

Edit: If I were to use my Bank money with my wallet Money I should probably be able to buy a 3DS if it was about $250 (right at this moment if it was out). But like I said, I'm only using my wallet money.

Personally, I want it $150-$175.....or lower.

But I'm guessing it'll be $180-$250

Please make it cost less than a Wii...
(Those things used to run for $250, you know.)

I'd guess somewhere in the range of $200-230 at launch; I can't see Nintendo going any higher than that.

It's true that it must have vastly more processing power than the DS to achieve the Gamecube-esque rendering and detail we've seen in screenshots so far (even at a resolution lower than the Gamecube itself output), but there's no telling for sure exactly how much power it has until we get specs. Considering the rendering and detail quality, though, in addition to the fact that it essentially needs to generate 3 distinct displays instead of just 2, it must have massive amounts of processing power.
