I have an OU team and there are a bit too much steel types, but they are all pretty good.
I will display the team using the Import/Export using Pokemon Online/PokemonShowdown.

Impish Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk
- Spikes
- Power Whip
- Thunder Wave
- Leech Seed

Metagross @ Life Orb
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt

Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SDef / 248 HP / 8 Spd
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Protect
- Toxic
- Roar

Lucario @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef

- Ice Punch

Cloyster @ Life Orb
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Razor Shell
- Rock Blast
- Shell Smash

Haxorus @ Life Orb
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 220 Spd / 252 Atk / 36 HP
Adamant Nature

- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake

What should i do to improve it? FYI, It is usually weak to sun teams.

From a casual glance I can tell that your weak to fire, fighting and ground types so you should have a way to counter each. If you want a steel type to counter ground/fighting try Skarmory or perhaps Brongzong. If you wan an offensive Ferrothorn this set works well on/against TR teams

Ferrothorn(M)@Occa berry
Power whip
Gyro ball
Curse
Payback/Bulldoze/Poison jab

Heatran is a good fire type counter but (don't get me wrong, Heatran IS good) Chandalue works well as a TR initiator/fire and fighting counter. This is the set I use

Chandlure(M)@Focus sash
Heat wave
Shadow ball/Hex
Energy ball
Trick room

Also since you are weak to sun teams a Tyranatar might be a goo addition with Sand stream.

P.S. I know this isn't a Monotype team.

Metagross is a pretty awesome pokemon, but it's not what it was in singles anymore. I'll agree that it's still good, especially in doubles, but in your team, it's not contributing anything. You already have a solid attacker with priority in Lucario and outside of that, Metagross just adds to the fire weakness that you mentioned. And Magnezone could also give you some problems. I'd suggest replacing Metagross with a spinner because you need one anyways. Starmie could give you an extra defense against fire types or you could go a more defensive route and use Donphan. I wouldn't suggest an Espeon on here, but if you are good at prediction, Xatu could be used as a Magic Bouncer. That'd also give you flying immunity and another pokemon with t-wave. Ferrothorn could then run Protect or Stealth.

Here's a few suggestions, and very wild ones:

1. Replace Haxorus with a Dragon Dance Tyranitar:

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

His purpose, is not necessarily to just provide an answer to other weather teams, but as a means of bringing in residual damage and an incredible attacking force. He serves the same role as Haxorus did, except that he does so much more.

2. Replace Metagross with a trapping Stealth Rock Dugtrio:

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Trait: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Reversal
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

Dugtrio is a pretty solid way of winning the weather war and shutting down other weather teams. He destroys Ninetales, Volcarona, Heatran and other Sunny menaces and he also isn't too bad against rain teams as he can leave a significant dent in Politoed, and can likely KO certain variants. Additionally, he sets up Stealth Rocks, something that's going to be very helpful for getting that extra oomph needed to KO certain Pokemon.

3. Replace the Heatran with the following Chandelure set:

Chandelure @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power Fighting

Chandelure is obviously in there to fill the need for something to absorb Fire attacks, as well as provide a spinblocker at the same time. Chandelure, especially this set, is an incredibly effective spinblocker due to its increased bulk thanks to Leftovers, Substitute and Calm Mind, as well as its ability to scare away/KO any Dark types that switch in to get rid of it with Hidden Power Fighting.

Give Cloyster this set:

Cloyster @ White Herb
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Atk / 176 Def
Impish Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Shell Smash

This set gives Cloyster the ability to put down an additional entry hazard, Toxic Spikes, act as a Rapid Spinner and then effectively Shell Smash sweep with little to no penalty. When using Shell Smash, definitely never underestimate the White Herb. It gives you either no penalties for your sweep, or if you REALLY need the extra boost (most of the time you won't especially not after entry hazard damage), one less stat drop.

On the Ferrothorn, get rid of Thunder Wave for Gyro Ball and change its nature to Relaxed (make sure to use a 0 Speed IV for this though). Also, its EVs are most optimum at 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD. Reasoning for this is that now with Toxic Spikes in the playing field, it heavily conflicts with Thunder Wave, and Ferrothorn is too slow to not make perfect use of Gyro Ball. A Gyro Ball from a minimum speed Ferrothorn HURTS REALLY BAD.

On the Lucario, replace Crunch with Swords Dance and Ice Punch with Bullet Punch. He needs the extra attack boost, especially without a plus attack nature, however I don't see it necessary to change to an Adamant nature because I think you have something going on with more speed focus, especially since now you're going to need such an awesome Dark type counter to protect your spinblocker.

In conclusion, yes, I do realize that I probably completely changed over your team, and likely changed the focus to being a sand team that partially focuses on entry hazards, but I didn't remove what I assume to be your favorite Pokemon (Lucario), and its a pretty solid team in the end, at least in my opinion.
