how to chain with the pokeradar

If you do not know the basics of chaining (never use your bike never run away from a pokemon) then I suggest that you should read my review at the bottem of this post first, It will make it alot more comprehendable

to chain shiny pokemon, you need to have a pokeradar and a lot of max repels(at least 50). In this guide, I will only explain how to chain with the pokeradar, not how to get it. you also need to have pokeballs, to catch the shiny

start with registering the pokeradar, and using your first of many max repels. you will always need to use you max repels, so you can get into the right patch without another pokemon running into you, breaking your chain.

when you use the pokeradar, you should see 4 patches of grass move.
you need to choose what type of patch you are going to chain in.
the one that blinks mean that a more rare pokemon may be in, but be warned, there are different types of blinking patches, but only one type of plain, shaking patch

this diagram represents the patches of grass that may move.
you always want to get in the patch that is in the box labeled 4. (Incase you haven't noticed yet, the smile is you)
you always ont to choose the biggest bunch of grass that you can get into, because the patch that wiggles may not be in the patch that you are in.
oh, yea. once you get your chain to 40 then the chanse of seeing a shiny is the greatest

If you see a patch that SPARKLES (not to be confused with blinking patches) then congradulations

let's review (I sound like a teacher)

supplies : max repels (loads of em) and a registered pokeradar.

Quick facts: once you choose the type of patch keep it!
never ever run into a patch bordering a bare land space (W/O grass)
do not hesitate to reset the radar. it will not mess up your chain. in fact whenever you are in dout, reset the radar.
do not ever run away from a pokemon, always catch it or KO it
never use your bike
once you get to 40 then stop, and just reset the radar repeatedly until you see a shiny patch.

It is alot to learn, but soon you will get used to it.
