The Hoenn games were made before Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon were added into the Pokédex. This raises a good question for the remakes: How are we going to evolve Eevee into Glaceon or Sylveon? Now, Hoenn seems like a fairly tropical region, free of much cold weather. Where would the Icy Rock go? Such a thing doesn't much seem to fit anywhere except maybe Route 113 or Regice's chamber. As for Sylveon, would we have access to the Pokémon-Amie in ORAS? If not, how would we evolve Eevee into Sylveon? Perhaps ORAS will respond to evolving Eevee into Glaceon and Sylveon the same way FRLG did with Umbreon and Espeon: send Eevee to the other game, in this case XY, and evolve it there, then send it back. What do you guys think?

In HG and SS Eevee can not evolve into Leafeon or Glaceon, and since there's a moss rock and ice rock in Kalos, I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't present in Hoenn.

But if they are present, I think the moss rock will be in Petalburg woods, and the ice rock perhaps in shoal cave (the ice room to be specific)

Sylveon max cuteness maybe?
Nah, that'd be too temporary...
Possibly an entirely new item will be introduced
Or they'll come up with something else

I guess I won't know till November

Probably the same as with Glaceon and Leafeon in HGSS; trade them to a game where they can evolve.

It'd be interesting if we got a different way to raise affection in ORAS though, like a new minigame.

Since they didn't put places for Eevee to evolve into Glaceon or Leafeon for the sake of convenience in HGSS, I don't see them randomly putting Moss or Icy Rocks in Hoenn, either. I'm expecting them to need to be evolved in Kalos and traded back.

As for Slyveon, it may get the same treatment if they remove Amie.

I think it'll be like in HGSS where you had to trade over any location specific evolution Pokemon. I have no clue about Sylveon if they don't include Amie

They could always implement the Rocks needed in suitable locations, like others have said.

I kind-of hope Amie returns in OR/AS, and all future games for that matter. It was hella cute and served more purpose than just feeding your Pokemon.

I'm hoping that they'd include Pokemon Amie, if only because that makes it more likely that they'll keep Super Training as well, but maybe they'll throw in some means of evolving Eevee into Sylveon within the game. Plus, it's a cute feature in itself. If they don't, then I guess they would want people to send their Eevee to X/Y, evolve it there and send it back. I could see them adding in the Mossy and Ice Rocks in the game, but I'm not sure how likely that is given that they didn't do that for HG/SS.

Well if Pokémon-Amie isn't present in these games (or in any of the future titles), they could very well alter the way on how to evolve Eevee into a Sylveon. I think the easiest way is high friendship plus Eevee knowing a fairy type move. It of course wouldn't be able to evolve into a Espeon or Umbreon unless you got rid of the fairy move. On Leafeon and Glaceon, it's up to them if they want to put the rocks in the game. I wouldn't be too bothered if they didn't but it'd be nice if they could.

Shoal Cave for Glaceon, Petalburg Woods for Leafeon, and Amie for Sylveon. Now for the other location Pokemon: New Mauville for Magnezone and Probopass. Or they could just pull and HGSS and force you to evolve them in the main games for that gen.

Eevee isn't even in Hoenn (Shame too. It should be accessible in every game)

Placing the rocks is easy, but if we lose Pokémon-Amie Sylveon will have some troubles. Remember, Milotic's evolution method changed in BW, despite contest stats being absent in HGSS.

If we can't evolve Eevee into those forms I hope ORAS can access the same pokebank as XY. Transfering an Eevee for evolution would be easier that way.

I think Affection/Amie is really helpful for when you're doing Nuzlockes and stuff so you get more crits and I really really hope they bring it back... If they don't, I guess Sylveon might not be in OR/AS at all.

I highly doubt they will remove Amie since it and Super Training are useful for training Pokemon, not just evolving Eevee to Sylveon. As for the Moss and Ice Rocks, the Moss Rock could go in Petalburg Woods while the Ice Rock could go in Shoal Cave. I highly doubt they would remove them because even though Eevee wasn't available in R/S/E, Game Freak knows how beloved the Eeveelutions are.

I don't think they won't add the rocks in this game, they've been pretty good about making all location based gimmicks obtainable in the last few games.

Pokemon Amie I don't see being removed either, it adds to the battling.

Easy.
Leafeon - Petalburg Woods or possibly the route next to Fortree
Glaceon - Ice Room of Shoal Cave
Sylveon - Keep Pokemon Amie, or something like it.

Okay, so we all sort of agree that if the Moss/Ice Rocks will be added in the game, they'll be in Petalburg Woods and Shoal Cave, respectively.
But what about Pokémon Amie? Do you think it will be included in ORAS? And if not, do you think another way of evolving Eevee into Sylveon will be present?

I'm hoping that Amie will be implemented into this, so I'll assume Sylveon evolves the same way. Besides, you can't find Eevee naturally in Hoenn any way so it's not like you'd have one pre-champion if you're soloing. As for Leafeon and Glaceon, I think they got a litle bit of flak for not including the moss and ice rocks in HGSS, so I'd assume they'll place on in Petalburg and Shoal Cave's bottom floor (with ze Snorunts~)

At which point I would also suggest Nosepass and Magneton would evolve in New Mauville.
