Generation 8 How to evolve my Buneary into Lopunny in BDSP fast?

I'm trying to evolve my Buneary into Lopunny in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond.

You evolve Buneary with high friendship

I dont think you can quickly evolve it tho

Buneary evolves when leveled up with high friendship. In BDSP putting Buneary in the front of your party, and running around as much as possible, since it will gain friendship for every 128 steps taken ingame. Also feeding it specific berries will speed up the process even further. This would be the way to evolve it the fastest. Or as early in the game as possible.

Yeah, and funnily enough, that trait is shared by most legendaries, mythicals, Ultra Beasts, Paradox Pokémon, and Buneary.

as in pretty much any pokemon game, the fastest method is going to be using the friendship berries that da man mentioned, if you already have piles of them (they are very useful to farm!!) these are pomeg, kelpsy, qualot, hondew, grepa, and tamato berries.

feeding vitamins/rare candies also gives a pretty big friendship boost up until a friendship value of 200 in which they stop increasing friendship, though you only need a friendship value of 160 or higher to evolve so vitamins can take you all the way to lopunny. little known fact but if you happen to have pokemon home and have collected a lot of home points, you can open home on your switch and redeem home points for battle points (BP) in BDSP, and then vitamins can be bought in the postgame fight area for 1 BP each (this isn't just useful for friendship, it's also useful for quick EV training or even just reselling the vitamins for in-game money quickly)

if you don't have any of those berries and don't have home points+the postgame unlocked (or just a huge chunk of change to buy vitamins from the veilstone department store) the best i can recommend is walking around with and leveling your buneary. oh, and do the daily massage in veilstone city (and the one in the ribbon syndicate in the postgame if you have that unlocked)...!!

and for all of the above always make sure buneary is holding a soothe bell so it gets extra friendship returns! the soothe bell in bdsp can be found in the pokemon mansion on route 212, second room on the left when you walk inside. just talk to the maid in there

Use friendship berries, make Boundary hold the soothe bell, level it up, walk with it, feed it vitamins... since Buneary starts with base 0 happiness, this will be a little bit of a challenge.
