How to get Special Event Pokemon?

I'm unsure if I can ask this, but I was wondering about something, and if it was possible.

The Nintendo Wii can be used as a DS download station using the Nintendo Channel.
Now with that in mind, is it or would it be possible to run some kind of homebrew application (on a modified console of course) to act like a gift station for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl to get the event only pokemon?
I'm not asking for anything ilegal here, I just want to get the special Pokemon, in a relatively proper manner. So I can train them and use them in multiplayer battles or on Battle Revolution for my Wii. I tried using a cheat cartridge but it tells me my Pokemon can't be used.
I live in the UK and we rarely get Pokemon events and when we do they're always in locations way out of my travel area.
So, I was wondering if anyone had done this or was working on a similar idea.
I also have a DS flash card which I use for emulators and other home-brew, and a 2nd old DS, so that is another option if anyone knows of a DS version of what I'm suggesting.

You can't get the event only monsters like that; at least the Mystery Gift ones. Or at least not yet. IDK, maybe in the future. Doubtful.

Short answer = NO.

The Toys 'R' Us/Mystery Gift monsters are distributed through another DS w/ a special game card whose sole purpose is to send a signal that gives out the Mystery Gift.

When Nintendo uses the term Download Station, it's not meant to be exclusive to Pokémon. It's basically a way to make their Download Station demos available @ locations other than stores like GameStop, Toys 'R' Us, etc.

I think you can send wondercards to yourself, check here

If you mean obtaining Special Event Pokemon thru Nintendo, you'll have to wait until they
have one of those events again. Do you mean that past Darkrai and Shaymin event?

But now that I think about it... There was that Wii integrative capability in Platinum.

Care to elaborate?
Platinum is out in UK soon, and I will be getting it.
So if there is an easier method that way, I could just wait till then.

Also, has anyone had experience with PokeSav?
Good or Bad, I'm totally lost with it.
My idea was to modify a .SAV for a R4 rom version and use that to transmit the "gift" to my proper game. But I've never used the program so, I don't know.

I've done it.
I've got what I came here for.
Azure Flute, Oaks Letter and the Member Card.
I already have Manaphy's Egg from finishing Ranger.
That way I still have to find and catch the Pokémon myself, and I'm not just cheating to get them instantly.

Please do... Considering your Mystery Gifts are not Nintendo Legal, and a tournament bannable offense.

The Wii syncing is message based; for the Wii message settings.
