I'm unsure if I can ask this, but I was wondering about something, and if it was possible.
The Nintendo Wii can be used as a DS download station using the Nintendo Channel.
Now with that in mind, is it or would it be possible to run some kind of homebrew application (on a modified console of course) to act like a gift station for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl to get the event only pokemon?
I'm not asking for anything ilegal here, I just want to get the special Pokemon, in a relatively proper manner. So I can train them and use them in multiplayer battles or on Battle Revolution for my Wii. I tried using a cheat cartridge but it tells me my Pokemon can't be used.
I live in the UK and we rarely get Pokemon events and when we do they're always in locations way out of my travel area.
So, I was wondering if anyone had done this or was working on a similar idea.
I also have a DS flash card which I use for emulators and other home-brew, and a 2nd old DS, so that is another option if anyone knows of a DS version of what I'm suggesting.
