How was N planning to use Reshiram/Zekrom to separate pokemon from humans?

I dont understand how could zekrom and Reshiram be used to make people give up there pokemon?

As I recall, it was for propaganda purposes. N having control over Reshiram/Zekrom was supposed to prove that he was a kind of "second coming" of the legendary hero who founded Unova. If people believed this, they would be more likely to do as he told them.

There might be more to it than that, but it's been a while since I've played through the BW story.

I've never played B/W so I'm unfamilar with the story but I gather that because Zekrom and Reshiram are pokemon, N believes that they would know what the pokemon are feeling and assumes that Zekrom/Reshiram would also want the pokemon to be free.

The second part to this is that N would surpass the Champion of Unova, therefore earning the title of Champion. And with that title, he would be considered the highest authority in Unova.

What Bikini Miltank and smallady said. They pretty much summed up my thoughts of it.

Plus, there's always the option of using Zekrom/Reshiram to induce fear into people, and fear alone is a pretty powerful persuader.

Yeah, I think that was pretty much his plan.
But personally, I thought his plan was horrible. Yes, the Champion is like "the most skilled trainer". That doesn't mean that people are going to do whatever he says. Unless he then threatens them or something (and being the most skilled trainer, he'd be pretty much unstoppable unless someone either gets lucky or a superior trainer from a different region comes along).
I mean even if everyone really respected him, I doubt that anyone, or at least many people, would change their entire way of life just because he says to. Even if he was the founder of Unova, he still really has no power over anyone else's actions. Most people could probably care less what he thinks.
Even the political leaders in our real world don't have 100% support... most don't even have anywhere near that much... some (especially the really radical ones, and N would definitely be considered radical) don't even have a majority...

Like y'all said, there's the story of the two twin princes, and if N could control one of them, he'd be viewed as a 'prince' that's got the right to rule Unova - that and he surpassing the champion. He'll be the one with the highest authority, and it'll certainly help him achieve his goal.

And if that fails he can just use the dragon to beat the shit out of everybody and take the Pokemon.

They were also going to forcibly release all the Pokémon with this device Team Plasma scientists made, presumably, N's role as the second coming and toppling the strongest trainer in the region is to keep people from opposing what Team Plasma had done.

@dannyjenn;
You're making this seem like a democratic election. N's closer to an actual king who claims they get their authority from a divine being, except his claim is backed up because the divine being in question is standing behind him. Regardless of whether these Pokémon are gods in-universe or simply normal beings who's powers are hyped up, what matters is the belief of the people, and the people in Unova believes the twin dragons to be gods--and not just a god like the fertility deity, Landlorus, but the gods of Unova legend. You don't need majority opinion on your side to exert this kind of power.

On a side note, I do find it interesting that Adler controls a Volcarona, though not legendary, has been suggested to have been worshiped as a god in the ancient past for substituting for the sun when the world was covered in darkness, and this idea is supported by that chamber in Relic Castle.

He was going to get the dragon to eat the Trainers.

It would do an effective job.

most will recognize him as the hero and those who cant will just lose to its legendary
