How will Heatran be handled?

According to the usually accurate releases of the TOMY figures in Japan, Heatran will be making an appearance around March next year in the anime.

So, how do you think it'll be handled? Will it be a legendary Pokémon, or will it just be treated as a throwaway Pokémon of the day?

I think he'll be shoved in Movie 11 personally.

Personally, I thought Heatran would've made a much better movie counterpart than 'gigas....

I kinda imagined Heatran popping up to help Ash. He seems like a good Pokemon to me who'd probably help the gang.

That thing is uggggggggggly. I hope the movie can make me love it (if that's where it's debuting). All though, looking back, I fell in love with it when I caught it with my second to last pokéball of all balls. Ha!

If it debuts in the anime, you just know it's going to end up in a "Rocket/Galactic takes the special item, risking a nearby town/village. Ash and Co. are helped by legendary" story.

^ Yeah. Look what happened to the likes of Celebi and Zapdos when they were thrown in normal episodes. They became as pointless and weak as any other random Pokemon.

Articuno was handled well though. Between it being an elusive picture for Todd and being Noland's Pokemon, Articuno managed to keep its "legend" status despite being in normal episodes.

Suicune has also been overused, but at least it was still shown as a powerful Pokemon.

This one is practically made for this. If you recall the events of the game... Buck takes a stone and makes Heatran go beserk. So this is almost too easy for the writers. >_>
