How will RS Remakes effect the anime?

I'm not trying to say there WILL BE RS Remakes but I'm curious to see what people think will happen to the anime IF there are RS remakes.

I guess I could see one of the supporting characters getting a Hoenn starter.

Lyra, the Pokeathlon and Dawn owning a Cyndaquil. also when FRLG came out, there was the Battle Frontire set in Kanto and May catching a Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Eevee.

IF there are RSE remakes it will probably involve a "Hoenn Fair" (We had the Johto Festa in DP and Kanto Fair in BW). At or around that time Serena or Clement will probably catch one of the Hoenn starters. If its Celement I say Treeko because geckos -> suction-cup hands -> some weird gadget Clement could make. If it is Serena then probably Mudkip. May already had Torchic so a female companion with the same starter might be a no-go.

Also, if Serena is a Rhydon rider like some guess, she could also capture a Lairon, Camerupt, Tropius, or another "rideable" Hoenn Pokemon for her team to help promote it.

For some reason I could see Clement with a Gulpin Comic relief?

Even with the mysterious person having a Mega Blaziken, I think that May would most likely appear again just because she's based on one of the playable characters in R/S. I agree that there could be a mini arc to promote the remakes like they did with HG/SS. Maybe showcasing some Contests with May would be possible too. Or at least that's something I wouldn't mind seeing.

I'd rather have a RS2 rather than a straight remake IMO. Show some new blood for a change.

Probably similar to how Fire Red, Leaf Green and HGSS remakes affected anime. There will be some mini arc with Hoenn exclusive characters like they did with Lyra and Khouri joining Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie for few episodes promoting its pokemon and starters encompassing whole thing with few competitions(perhaps some sort of tournament).

Maybe one of main characters from Kalos cast will receive one of Hoenn starters like they did with May, and seeing how writers already plan to distribute XY starters among all main characters(not counting Bonnie) this time around makes me wander if two members of main cast might receive Hoenn starters in case of remakes becoming reality? To balance things out as far as development of most important representatives of some generation and their need for exposition goes.
In that case i can picture Serena getting another rideable pokemon like Camerupt(if theory about racing turns out to be true) or some gracious one like Delcatty. And seeing Clemont with some more mischievous and ghost like pokemon as Bannete would suit him well imo and add some diversity into team. So far none of main character ever got ghost pokemon which is kinda shame.

Speaking of May i would love to see her appearing for Ruby/Sapphire remakes being logical choice for their promotion as protagonist and representative of third generation. And it would be appreciated to get update, how much things changed, changes to her team and possibly get some growth by entering contests in case they showcase some of them through remakes.

But im not expecting much seeing how writers can often miss on opportunity to make advantage of iconic and popular characters along with appeal they bring even when through games their marketing value is increased and its possible to make something valuable with them again.
As evidenced with HGSS remakes or World Cup which was total cop up passing on bringing any previous gym leader or companion like Misty rather wasting things on episodes with no importance or story to follow.

And with number of new characters being added with each gen number of abandoned ones is rapidly increasing shrinking chances to ever see them in some role in series again much to my dissapproval.

Heck, her Wartortle could evolve into Blastoise to mega-evolve into Mega-Blastoise.

She doesn't have a monopoly on Venusaur, blastoise, or blaziken. There's no point for her to come to a contestless region 2 regions after she had her turn plus a cameo. Besides xy looks so much like AG anyways serena is just gonna turn out the same way.

I know. But people acting like Blaziken Rider suddenly has a monopoly on Blaziken isn't any better. I just wanted to point out May has two other Pokémon for mega-evo should they take that route.

I get that they'll likely give mega-evolutions to XY characters (I imagine some of them will have mega evolable Pokes in the games. Korrina's outfit suggests an Aron/Lairon/Aggron), but using it as a reason to bring back old characters who already have said Pokémon on them does sound kinda neat.

It probably depends on whether this saga's story is looser (like AG) or if there's a strong overarching story that leads into the series finale being the league (like with DP and Paul/Chimchar).

Now looking at it the anime would probably feature a May comeback. But if that wouldn't happen a Walt cameo would be neat as well. And depending on which PC would be able to play a cameo could happen. Nothing special besides a multiple episode arc. would happen.

Some starters would get caught and that probably is it. Nothing that special.

A Team Magma or Aqua could happen with Mega Weather mon's.

But looking at it now. Zygarde is made out of Emeralds. It could feature a Zygarde vs Rayquaza.

Yeah. Just because the other remakes did well doesn't mean Gen 3 is getting some. Heck, if they were going to do that they would've done it for the 10th anniversary like with FR/LG and SS/HG. (The fact that the story changes from version to version might be a problem)

Something I was kicking around a while back that will never happen is basically having Brendan take the role of basically the Patriots from MGS plus GMan from half life, trying to figure out how Ash has managed to make it so far with a relatively high success rate with a generally small team. He lures ash to Hoenn to better "test" Ash in experiments to uncover the secrets of his team, all while pretending to be a friendly guide who happens to always be in the right place at the right time when something happens, always with enough knowledge to ensure his test subject won't get away, get caught, or find the exit or purpose of the rabbit hole Ash's been lured into.

Bring Max back with a pokemon and being a little older. And screw the Max can't age till Ash does, this is the anime. It doesn't need to make sense.

So Max can come back with a Treeko and Ralts and battle Ash. He can come with May to visit or something.
