How would one become a Mod?

I couldn't really find a thread about this (thought I am pretty sure there is one), so I thought I'd just ask again for a more recent response.

So yeah, basically how would one become a Mod?
I've seen that first its partial moderation abilities (like SaturnYoshi had before becoming a full mod) and then full Modship, then Super Mod and then Admin.

But how do you get the title in the first place? I'm sure its not by going around and acting like mod, which is mini-modding, so what is it? Is it being very active to the forums and just being a good user in general?
 
Hmm.. i believe you need to contribute enough tothe forums.examples:running impressive shops,good arts,being a close friend or just simply donating money here and there...lol.but i would rather battle for such a spot..a mod /admin who cant battle is ridculous..lmfao.lmfao indeed.hopes this answers your Q...;]

Yeah.... I don't think thats it. Cuz most of the mods lack all those qualities :/

Heaven help us if the internet hands out leadership based on artwork.

Needless to say, that didn't answer the question, as Blazaking was obviously aiming it towards the actual mods who would know.

And if you think about it, if those were the qualities needed, then besides donating, I should've already become a mod by now XD

*sigh* And you suppose you know better???yet you post to criticize me...well yeah I KNOW mods/admins lack battling skills for certain,since im risking my access here while saying this but yea i just suggested some ideas dont get pushy all out of nowhere now..

No I don't know better. I'm not a mod. That's why I said the question was directed at a mod. You're random ideas aren't helping and I wouldn't have responded save for the fact you obviously believed this.

Now, let's shut up and wait for an actual mod to answer the mod-focused question. Did I mention that we need a mod to answer this?

Since you believe your self is tight hypothise why an admin/mod becomes such..or your brilliance is too remarkable for someone willing too actually learn...lol.your an a**...leave my a**. alone

Even though I'm not the one who this was directed at nor have I posted in this topic. I thought I should make a note that I am an admin on a couple of other forums and usually the base is simply being a helpful user, being able to catch spam, and not breaking any of the rules.

I'm not saying that's what it would be here though, it's just that's usually the base of it.

Yeah you should PRACTICE what you preach..you commented on something i said with a remarkably crude remark..you realize you`ve even messed up..i havent forgotten those 2 weeks ago...lol

Yes, and when did I say that I never mess up? Everybody messes up. I myself am currently banned for some minor rule breakage on another forum I visit.

Now, going back to what the topic was about, like Ryu (the real one not the Ditto) said, you (Blazaking) should ask a moderator of these forums or somet'ing.

Your idea is most credible..yet im not a ditto you Botch Doctor...Ryutakeshii is firemblem or something...Ryu of the Brood is a capcom rpg.you should know what your saying,oh fyi i know your not perfect im just stating your a** is not a good precedent due to the fact your arguebly immature due to mod/admin standards.i just stated that..but i must say you gave a credible answer that i trust...while even god ryutakeshii couldnt come up with one.lmfao. what a world ...full of know it alls and botched doctors..hehe
 
I wish we had a voting system, and only people with 1000+ posts can be mods and 500+ can vote. That would stop sockpuppets.

You do realize that I'm not a doctor right? I'm only 13, so if I was a doctor, that'd be pretty fucking awesome.

Also, I the only Capcom series I pay attention to is Mega Man.

I also called you Ditto due to the similarities between you and Ryuu's names. And he did have a reason, this question was best answered by a mod. Which it is. Only a mod would be able to accurately answer the question Blazaking answered.
 
Just be a good member and help those in need. Well thats the general way to go for most forums.

Exactly...meaning no biased punishments,and when mods/admins post they run the risk of not being a good boy,since their bias mixes in with others,thus any conversation can head anywhere...so pichu be a good boy now..practice makes perfect...i think..lol;]
 
Juicy Jazzy I would suggest removing that comment.
