Okay, I'm now sure if this is the right place to put this, so go ahead and correct me.

What's the goriest, most violent game you've ever played or watched?
 
I remember Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM back in the day. I also remember QUAKE (i played a couple test versions before it came out, and was psyched for it's release).

I like to play cute and brainy games now.... like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy games, and Skies of Arcadia (dammit, my dreamcast discs are scratched!). I kinda grew out of bloody games.
 
Duck Hunt, it was violent back in the days. I mean, you killed ducks and your dog grabbed the dead bodies by the necks and chuckled!

Seriously though, I have never played a "M" rated game, but watching my cousing played GTA creeped me out.
 
This depends on what you call violent. Sure, DOOM is as bloody and gory as hell, but it's so unrealistic, it's hard to be disturbed by it, Whereas in GTA you can become a serial killer and murder dozens of people.

It is? I heard that it was very realistic.
 
I don't usually go for the GTA style of games but I do enjoy the Survival Horror style games. I would have to say Silent Hill has the most distrubing things I have seen, video game wise. Where as the RE series, namely 4 has the bloody stuff, ie. chainsaw decapitations and so forth.
