Hey, I'm a long time lurker, and I decided that I wanted to participate in some of the discussion here so I decided to de-lurk and sign up.

I got my name from one of the main characters from Final Fantasy XIII, it's also what I named my PC in Pokemon Platinum.

I started playing pokemon over ten years ago when I was 8, when the first generation games came out and the whole Pokemon craze was massive. I miss those days :(

I never completed the third generation days, during 2005-early this year I wasn't really interested in Pokemon. Then The Gold and Silver remakes came out.

I really like the Pokemon Special/Pokemon Adventures manga, although I've only got the first seven volumes :( (although Yellow is just ADORABLE!)

My favourite pokemon are Suicune and Sneasel and my favourite generation was Generation II. It was probably because I managed to defeat the Elite Four and Red without the help of my older brother and without the help of cheats, well mainly without cheats. My friends and I abused the trading cloning glitch. That was how I ended up with a Level 100 Ho-Oh, Wigglytuff, Mew and Articuno. I'd love to be able to find out if I can ever get my pokemon from Crystal onto any of the Gen III games, so I can transfer them onto Platinum or SoulSilver.

I thought I lost my Pokewalker once, but I found out that it had taken an unintended wash. Well a couple of hours of trying out all the bits worked out, and it now works just fine! (Thank god)

I loved Pokemon Colosseum, even though I only got around halfway through it. I really need to pick up the game again and beat it. Wes is the bomb.

I'll post my Friend codes later on (hopefully) when I get wireless internet.

I crack ship like crazy, some of my ships include:

Silver/Gold
Wes/Will - never seen it on any shipping lists, I just like it for some reason
Silva/Cail - again, never seen anyone else ship it, but I like it
Lt. Surge/Koga
Morty/Falkner
Wallace/Steven

My interests outside of pokemon include: Final Fantasy (especially Final Fantasy VI), Halo (crappy fanbase, brilliant music and backstory), Half-Life, Team Fortress 2 (I need to get Xbox Live Gold again so I can play it again), Anime, Manga, Books, TV Tropes, Mindless Action Movies, Yu-Gi-Oh The Abridged Series, The World Ends With You, Looking For Group and xkcd.

Ahhh yeah. That's about it. Pleased to meet you all! =D

EDIT- I'm not sure if there's a way to transfer Pokémon from Crystal to Sapphire, but I think you can transfer them to FR/LG (Not sure)

And you like the manga! I'm so obsessed with it! (it's a shame I have 0 moneyz, really) I read it in Spanish, too, so I reached vol.27 or something...

And, wow, what is with the remakes of GenII? What are they, magical? They drew me back to Pokemon recently as well! (nostalgia and all that; I'm old and stuff)

EDIT: Anyways, GenI and GenII games are incompatible with future generations. This is why they had to be remade in GenIII and GenIV, respectively.

Kayi Rowling-It's a pity my shinies can't be transferred over. :( Oh well at least I know. It's better knowing than not knowing. Heh, I never reached that far. I'm starting to buy the manga, but unfortunately Volume 8 apparently isn't out until August. Give it another month, and you roughly have the month when Australia might get it through import shops.

Hatooboo-My favourite Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy VI. I am eagerly awaiting the day SquareEnix announces that they're remaking it. (Any day now. *waits patiently*)

Chebon-The other Xbox games I have are Bioshock 2 (which I got over a month ago, and I STILL haven't played it yet), Final Fantasy XIII, Fallout 3, Lost Odyssey, Enchanted Arms (I got it for the storyline. NOTHING to do with the Ho-Yay....), uhhh, that's about all I can think of at the moment. I might have some more games floating around.

I liked your intro.I like Suicune too!I'm also crazy about Pokemon Adventures!!!! I like the charcter Yellow, which is probably obvious due to my user name :D I like the shippings too!

Hehehe...thanks. Enchanted Arms is interesting. It's sort of like a cross between a JRPG and a strategy game like Disgaea. There are two endings and apparently the only way to get to good ending is to get 100% completion. It also has a massive difficulty spike less than a quarter of the way through the game. You can choose to listen to the English or Japanese voices. I personally prefer the Japanese voices. Yuki's voice just gets really grating.

Yellow de Viridian - Heheh...that's a lot of Yellow shippings. I love SpecialShipping. I love Yellow's crush on Red. xD Yellow is just ADORABLE! She's very huggable. When I started buying the Adventures manga, I bought the Yellow Arc first. Now I'm going back to get the Red/Blue/Green Arc. And not very patiently waiting for the G/S/C Arc to come out.

Luxio - Heheheh....well I usually try to post some info about myself here, I'm not really content with saying 'Hi I'm new here.' xD Well thanks for the welcome.
 
haha, when I saw your username I immediately recognized it from final fantasy (even though I don't play the game, my friend does :p)

&I love the gold/silver ship too :D, just not the name of it ;(
