Do you think we'll see any more of Ash's Larvitar? Wasn't that its mother in the Battle Frontier opening sequence?

Well, in Spurt, save for Raticate, and Beedrill and Seaking, all Pokémon Ash owned at some point of time was seen. Spurt was a tribute to them.

In short, no.

If Ash had gone back to Johto, then I think there would have been a very slight chance of it appearing.

It was never Ash's Pokémon, just a good friend... I doubt we'll see it again but who knows

It should be a Tyranitar by now.

Larvitar was an ok pokemon. It got kinda annoying when it being all dramatic, but I like it.

I'd rather see Haunter, man did I wish that Ash caught it.

He should be well, I think. Happy with his mother, as it should be. Maybe he's grown/leveled up and a trained Pokemon, or still living wherever his mother is.

I'm content with the way his story was handled. I was very impressed with his backstory. I think this is enough. <3 Seeing him and his mother in the Spurt opening was just a sweet bonus, but I wouldn't mind seeing him again.

Larvitar was just a Pokemon Ash had to return to its mother. Its story is over.

We'll never see him onscreen again, but he's likely to be eating dirt right now.

If you look hard enough, I'm sure there's a few bad fanfics about larvitar... as for the anime, no.
