Shuukan Pokemon Housoukyoku Episode 19: "Galloping Sky Legend - Richie and Moltres!"
Pokemon Chronicles Episode 18: "The Search for the Legend"

Toonami UK, 4:30pm and 7:00pm
While on a voyage on the SS Anne, Richie meets a powerful trainer called Silver who is on his way to battle Moltres with two Professors from the Bogus Fake Institute of Science. Of course, Team Rocket want to capture Moltres.

In Japan, this episode aired between the Pokemon Advanced Challenge episodes "Huntail and Gorebyss! Evolution Mystery!" and "Muscle Battle!? Double Battle!", (which will air dubbed in the next couple of months.)

Post your thoughts about the episode here. Please mark any spoilers for episodes not that have yet to air in America in spoiler tags.

Really? On the first airig, I turned the tv on as they came on and immediately recognised Cassidy's voice. And Bogus Fake Institute of Science comes up in that minute. But Richie was fooled for a while, and he's seen them twice before, so...

I honestly don't know what the writers trying to do with Richie. On the one hand, he admits to being an Ash clone even more than he did in "Oaknapped". On the other hand, they seem to be trying to give him more of a personality.

For the first time, Professor Nanba is annoyed by his name being said incorrectly, as it is in the original. Butch calls him Professor Mumbo.]

Butch and Casssidy wonder if catching a legendary Pokémon will make them legendary. Now where have we heard that before? *cough*LegendofThunder*cough*

My favorite Chronicles episode. I initially wanted to only see it for Salamence, but Silver was a great character and the battling was very good. Always nice to see a Cloyster too.

SILVER IS ASH'S DAD!

Like, Ritchie is usally a smart-ass....but Bogus Fake Institute of Science? HEY ASS HOLE! PAY ATTENTION!

I still think when Namba yells through the radio, it looks like something from the Brave Little Toaster.

And Ritchie could of died so many times, but that darn Silver had to save them.

Oh, and Cloyster! He barely appears anymore...Tentacruel was a nice bonus as well.

You know, Silver looks like Brandon...and he looks like Shinji as a kid...0.0

They seem to be trying to adjust his personality from "Ash 2" to "sort of like Ash, but more timid and intelligent'. It works, I guess.

SILVER IS ASH'S DAD!

He's the best damn candidate in the whole anime, yes.
