Shuukan Pokemon Housoukyoku Episode 11: "Calling Great Detective Meowth"/"Is Neice Azurill in Great Trouble!?!"
Pokemon Chronicles Episode 21: "Big Meowth, Little Dreams"

Toonami UK, 4:30pm
Meowth only has two days of his vacation left now, and now all he wants to do is eat his tuna fish sandwhich in peace. But when it runs away from him, can Meowth get it back, or at least solve the mystery?
The next day, the Pichu Brothers lose Azurill and Meowth tries to woo a Skitty.

In Japan, this episode aired between the Pokemon Advanced episodes "Ready, Willing and Sableye" and "A Meditite Fight", (and between the Pokémon Chronicles episodes "Oaknapped" and "A Date with Delcatty")

So...where did the other two titles come from?

The episode order seems strange. The Pichu Winter Vacation episode makes more sense first, and this certainly follows the other Meowth episode.

Wow! Meowth actually did a decent title card! In fact, it is probably the best all series.

*sigh* Does Meowth have to explain every tiny plot detail?

Hmm...if this was a trainer episode, then they could use a Pokédex to identify the footprint. We never really see any aspect other than identification in the anime.

So the moral of the first part is that you should set small goals and not large goals. Makes sense. (Ash seems to have forgotten his goal to capture 150 Pokémon.)

These Pokémon are very lucky. If it was real, there would be a lot more deaths on those roads. But the residents seem to know road safety, which is something.

Poor Meowth, though. It isn't his fault that Azurill is so mean.

And this must be the only episode to date with no Houndour. The joke has been wearing a bit thin. (On the other hand, they still haven'tgot rid of the Snorlax.)

My question is, and I am aware that there is no real answer:

If Meowth is on vacation, where are Jessie and James?

That's just Meowth's character.

But hey! At least they didn't screw this one up! I'd hate to have to beat them shitless!

Nice question, Argy :)

Maybe on a honeymoon *dreaming*

It sounds like they are just following Ash without Meowth.

That wouldn't make sense. How the heck can Meowth get a vacation w/o them getting one as well?? Either all three of them are having vacation time, or all three are working.
