Humorous Punishments for Kids

If you had to come up with a wacky/humorous way to scold your children, what would you do? I'd either show them clover field and tell them it's real, or pay Tara Strong a few hundred grand to read them my copy of the divine comedy as a bedtime story in her Raven voice. It has to be Raven. They get to at least canto 24 or my money back. They would preferably be toddlers, but it would work at any age. God I miss Teen Titans.

As a note: violent acts/acts of cruelty to children/etc is not what is meant by this thread. Everything posted here must be a humorous or witty way to scold/punish a child, and must not include any violent acts towards a child. This is meant as a joke, please only post things that would not harm a child and are meant purely for humour.

i'd skip the opportunity and not be cruel, like any sane parent would. terrorising a child, even if it's just once, is really fucked up.

It's not meant seriously. We've all been cruel to friends and family, and I'm not implying that children as somewhat lesser beings but in the act of pulling a prank on your kids generally a parent does not intend to scar or emotionally damage. Besides, it's a bloody joke.

Do you seriously have to do something that is regarded as 'cruel'?

And if you intentionally planned to do it, then you meant to do it. Joke or not, this isn't exactly funny.

If I wanted a humorous way to scold a child, I'd probably wait 'til they got home from school, then hide somewhere in the house and see their reaction to being unable to find me. Obviously, if they were starting to panic, I'd come out of hiding. ^^;;

I guess if I were to have kids I'd pull dad pranks on them, like on Christmas I'd box something they'd really want inside something they'd hate, like putting a console in a furniture box. Look on their face will be priceless!
