And here again I am with my weird deck names, that make absolutely no sense to half the people out there. Read up on what a Flow battery is, and it'll make a lot more sense. It'd probably make a lot more sense if the deck still included the Magneton PK that I had in here originally, but in the end, I just couldn't justify having that many Pokémon in the deck, and couldn't find another name for it that really suited it. ^^;
Anyway...been experimenting with this guy for a little while. Haven't done any proper testing as of yet, so this is only what I've got on paper at the moment, but the concept itself seems fairly tight. Thanks should go out to DragonairMaster8 for his Gardevoir M.D. article (something I've been looking at recently while planning for Mercury post DP), and Dendrobatida for his Dendrocatty idea, which formed the original inspiration for this deck.
Pokémon (23)
2 Trapinch LM
1 Trapinch PK
2 Vibrava LM
1 Vibrava d DF #24
3 Flygon ex PK
4 Skitty LM
2 Delcatty ex CG
2 Delcatty PK
4 Tauros CG
1 Tropius d
1 Sableye CG
Trainers (20)
2 Professor Elm's Training Method
2 Wally's Training
4 Drake's Stadium
4 Holon's Transceiver
3 Holon Mentor
2 Holon Adventurer
2 Holon Lass
1 Holon Farmer
Energy (17)
4 React Energy
4 Cyclone Energy
4 Boost Energy
4 Dark Energy
1 Psychic Energy
The strategy of this deck is fairly simple. Maintain high levels of draw using Delcatty PK, tanking with Flygon ex thanks to its power (discarding energy for preference) and Drake's Stadium, and bringing out Delcatty ex for an Upstream whenever Flygon fails the flip on Slashing Strike, taking advantage of the free retreats there as needed. Use Tauros as your initial starter for setup, and as a backup to eliminate any Battle Frontier, should anyone still be playing those thesedays. Sableye, as in Dendrocatty, is pure tech, messing up some starters if it comes out, and playing havoc with Banette's, and others that only have 1 attack. Tropius is there for matches against Mercury, Gardevoir M.D., and other power sealing decks.
Not really much else I can say on this...any questions? Suggestions?
