And summary, via Dephender.

Roy and Lucario were not only defeated by Master Mayonnaise, they were also unable to master the new Mega Evolution. But while Lucario is getting impatient, Roy suggests that it relaxes a bit instead...?! The two then end up battling Master Mayonnaise's Luchabull again.... and during this battle, they manage to discover a new way to use Wave Guidance. After that, they acquire the new Mega Evolution as well?!

Roy's Lucario has become sanitized and kid-friendly with new Mega Form. ;)
 
Kind of tired of the "Liko/Roy Trains!!" episodes tbh. I think they're trying to 'make up for' the lack of battles early season, but the problem is... they don't need to make up for that, the 'lack' of battles was fine, and many of the ones we got were great already.

At the rate they’re going at turning this into the Roy show, I wouldn’t hold my breath. Honestly, bad as Roy’s fans try to say that he was treated by the writers focus wise in the first part of the series, he was always consistently a part of everything going on. Can’t really say the same for the others in the second half of the series where they might as well just be Roy’s cheerleaders as they just watch at the sidelines while he gets near endless action.
 
Again I am baffled by how Horizons handles the previews. Last episode finished with a dramatic twist, Lucario couldn't mega-evolve! There's so much to learn and discover for Roy! And he got a new stone, now that's something to strive for!

Then 3 min later the preview reveals the resolution of the next episode? There's going to be no suspense now that we know that Lucario Z shows up next episode. No uncertainty about whether it's a longer arc for Roy? Is there a deeper distrust from Lucario? Will they succeed?!?!

Yeah, they will. The trailer says "don't bother watching, we just told you the conclusion a week before". Maybe it's a bit harsh (a lot of episodes have more to them than the main plot point) but that how the trailer makes me feel.
