Review HZ140: Bread Bread Bread! Mini Gurumin!!

An alright episode that Ditto getting lost in the crowd after transform into snack to cheer the boy up. That almost cause Dot for her Gurumin to be disappointed. Nothing speculater.

Also Liko need to calm herself down with the Gurumin obsession.

Overall rating: D+
 
Ditto changing into skeledirge in the episode title screen was cute.
And Liko's excitement here was also cute, she almost lost the ability of articulated speech sometimes XD
And that moment when Uruto was calling everyone lame for getting tricked by ditto...then getting tricked himself XD
Yeah overall fun to watch.
Kind of sad that Sango did not get a cameo, we akk know how much she loves sweets and stuff like that, would be a perfect opportunity for that
But yeah it was a nice episode to show Ditto's helpful intentions

Does anyone else see that Liko’s queer is showing? Tho are the writers so high with the LGBTQIA, I got nothing against the LGBTQIA in the show, but when did the writers get the LikoDot shipping out in the open all of a sudden and I thought at first that LikoxAnn was supposed be a thing but then it’s like a side chick if you know what I’m saying

Some fans saw the LikoDot subtext right from the beginning, so I don't find that surprising at all. LikoAnn hints were there too. But if anyone has become the "side chick", it is Amethio LOL. Since there were hints at that too.
I doubt any of those ships will become canon actually so there is no conflict here really. Everyone can rest easy

Ditto is now part of the title screen, and Skeledirge looks so done xD

This was a fun episode but I preferred the last two. Ditto Gurumin is adorable, and some gags were really funny, like Meowscarada putting bombs on Liko's eyes (careful, you wouldn't want that to explode) but I do wish they added a cameo character like Sango, or maybe gave some spotlight to Murdock. Probably not the right episode for this though.

I never played Pokemon Unite. What do we expect for next ep? If anything I'm reminded of sports-like events like the old PokeRinger episodes in Hoenn and Sinnoh.
 
Now that I finished the episode:

It's very cute!
I'm glad it didn't escalate into a conflict where they yell at Ditto for its tricks; the group just need time to understand the blob.
Though, I'm surprised that Roy was the one who figured it out since Liko is the one who wanted to understand Pokemon's feelings, but I get that she's not responsible for that in this episode due to her adorable fangirling of Nidothing.
I do wonder what they'll call Miniguru in the dub. Minithing? Nidomini? Minido?

Gurumin is livestreaming when Ditto transforms into a miniature Gurumin and interrupts the livestream. Her fans dub this Miniguru and are very happy about it, especially Liko. Ditto then spends the first bit of the episode transforming into various missing items, and the RVTs assume it is playing pranks. Murdock mentions a Bread Festival that Gurumin was invited to by a baker who made Gurumin bread. Dot initially wants to refuse, but Liko is excited about the idea, so Dot goes along with it (for the sake of her fans or just for Liko?) and decides that Miniguru will be included as well. During rehearsals (Including a Miniguru dance that Meowscarada doesn't let Liko see), they discover that Ditto returns to normal when it laughs. Ditto transforms into Sandaconda bread and gets lost at the Bread Fest, continuing to transform into various things. The RVTs find it (by way of making it laugh) and are just slightly late to Gurumin and Miniguru's show, but it is a success even with the late appearance of Miniguru. Liko finally gets to see the Miniguru dance, and Roy realizes that Ditto was transforming into things people needed to help them or cheer them up. After the show, the RVTs return to the ship with lots of Gurumin and Miniguru bread. Liko finds the bread too cute to eat.

It's always fun to see Liko's Gurumin obsession, even if it doesn't quite count as LikoDot.
 
A cute little episode where we get to learn more about what Ditto is like. As it would turn out, Ditto is just trying to be helpful to those around them, even though they can't exactly hold their transformation in place when they revert to normal when they laugh, and they are seemingly quite ticklish and otherwise sensitive to physical humor. I was a little worried about how they would manage another "Ditto has a wacky, unusual transformation habit and shenanigans ensue" gag but they've been pretty funny with what Ditto has been turning into and the situations they get into because of it.

I love to see Liko fangirling over Gurumin. I already love her relationship with Dot, and I like how even though she is well aware that Dot is Gurumin, she can't help but put Gurumin on a high pedestal and respect. Her brain melting over whether or not to peek at her practice at the expense of spoiling herself (plus the fact that Gurumin shouted her out by her username) was funny. I really liked how Meowscarada was making sure Liko couldn't peek with her little flower bombs.
