Just as Wanival and Dekanuchan are suffering from sleep deprivation, Liko and the others run into Professor Neroli, a researcher of Pokémon sleeping. They all travel together to Wakakusa Island to try using the power of the Kabigon there to put Wanival and Dekanuchan to sleep, but the hungry Kabigon ends up waking up... and the group starts working on trying to make Comatose Butter Curry in order to fill it up and make it go back to sleep!!
The episode airing Friday August 21st will be a Pokémon anime x Pokémon Sleep collab! Professor Neroli, who researches Pokémon sleep ecology alongside Kabigon, will be played by Natsuki Hanae-san! In this episode, it seems he'll be giving the Rising Volt Tacklers sleep-related advice! Here is a comment from him:
I'm really happy I get to play Professor Neroli, who we all know from Pokémon Sleep, in the anime! He's a fascinating professor, mild-mannered yet passionate, and burning with an extraordinary enthusiasm for researching Pokémon's sleep. I think it's quite possible you'll be able to discover many unique and never-before-seen sleeping faces and adorable relaxed poses alongside him in the anime as well.
