Who knew he was union the whole time? If Shaman King reboot was union then why he didn't return to them while he did come back for Pokémon?

They almost certainly didn't want him playing Ryu/Rio again, lol. Not with that voice.

He was heard voicing Amidamaru in an initial trailer, so maybe he was meant to return at first but couldn't do it? One-off recasts (as opposed to like, a full cast turnover like Dragon Ball Z mid-Frieza saga or Pokemon season 9) often boil down to scheduling conflicts.

I guess it's due to creative difference right?

Same goes for Racheal Lillis also didn't came back to Shaman King reboot as well but it's because she hasn't done any new role since 2019 due to inactivity despite she wasn't retired.
