Recently I was messing around and accidentally caught Regirock with a Netball... go figure. So I was wondering if you guys have any stories from your pokemon experience that made you say "Wow, I can't believe that just happened!" It can be anything from catching a rare pokemon with a wimpy ball to getting a shiny starter the first time you turned on your game.
 
Yesterday, I caught Cresselia with a Heal Ball. I made it a point to do so because the colours match well and it looks very...shiny when it's released.
 
i once caught kyogre with a nest ball. or was it a premier ball? it was one of those two...

On a ROM hack I caught a Pikachu Lv.100 without even inflicting any damage on it.
 
No. not on red/Blue.(Missingno. cheat)

I caught my Zapdos with a pokeball.
 
my premier ball failed on a level ten bunneary with minimum hp (endured a hit) didnt get a single bounce off of it.
i swear those things are worse then pokeballs,
 
Haha... I caught a Mew at Lv.7 on Red with a Pokeball, no damage or status effects... it was too easy! (I used the Mew Glitch, of course, but the battle's still fair.)
 
Palkia and Regigias full HP with a great ball. Did the latter one just messing around, and to my surprise it was captured (first try!). I hear it isn't too uncommon for Palkia, though. Catch rate is high.
 
Charmander with Pokerus as starter.

Sadly I didn't know what was that after a while, but I did found strange being able to easily beat up other pokemon with a much higher level...
