Alright, so I'm not one for competitive battling. Scratch that, I have never battled competitively before. Or battled at all, for that matter. I'm more of a collector. However, I do want to collect me some internet and wi-fi wins, so here we go.

Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Solid Rock
Impish Nature
244HP/184DEF/82SPDEF
Avalance
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Stone Edge

Rhyperior leads to set up stealth rock. He also serves as a Breloom counter, if I can manage to knock down the Sub enough times with other pokemon, which I've had happen before.

Lickilicky @ Iron Ball
Own Tempo
Brave Nature
252HP/252ATK/6DEF
Curse
Explosion
Gyro Ball
Hammer Arm/Return

I've had both utter failures and stellar results with Lickilicky. Iron ball + Curse + Naturally low speed = insane Gyro Ball hits. Explosion hits hard with STAB and a high attack. I can't decide between Hammer Arm, which also lowers my speed, and Return, which hits with STAB.

Rotom-W @ Choice Specs(Wish I could get this in-game, but I've only got Pearl...Anyone know of something I can replace this with to get a decent team balance?)
Levitate
Modest Nature
6DEF/252SPATK/252SPD
Hydro Pump
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Trick

Standard attacking Rotom-W. Does plenty of damage to plenty of things, and Trick messes with things something awful sometimes. Honestly, I love Rotom, but its other formes are so much better.

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Chlorophyll
Impish Nature
252HP/228DEF/30SPD
Sleep Powder
Knock Off
Leech Seed
Power Whip

It makes for a lovely annoyer, and sucks up physical damage like there's not tomorrow. Has some trouble with physical fire types and doing anything serious to Breloom, but all around, I have some fun with it.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Blaze
Hasty Nature
64ATK/194SPD/252SPATK
Nasty Plot
Fire Blast
Close Combat
Grass Knot

Just a fun little Mixape.

Gallade @ Leftovers
Steadfast
Careful Nature
252HP/6ATK/252SPDEF
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Night Slash
Ice Punch

Now, this is a weird set, but bear with me. This thing is a special wall with a bit of a kick to it. It's not meant to completely stop special sweepers, it's meant to make them think twice about coming out and trying anything. Close Combat kind of lowers the defense, so it's only to be used in situations where Night Slash and Ice Punch can't do the job for it.

So far, the only pokemon that have really given me trouble are another Infernape, physical based, and a Breloom that was subpunching, but using Mach Punch instead of Focus Punch. Thoughts?

I'm going to be honest... I don't... I don't like it. I just... don't. I'll tell you the things I DO like. I like Lickilicky especially, not for the reason you put Iron Ball onto it (Although it's a good reason) but because of the abundance of Trick users. Think about it. There's Azelf, Latias, and Rotom that not only get the huge slow down but also lose their Levitate ability, and then others such as Alakazam and Metagross. There are others, but those are some main ones. I'd go with Hammer Arm on it, or even Fire Blast since you're running Brave. Both are options for dealing with Steel-types so choose which one will help you most. Personally, I like the fact that you're bringing the new evos in. I like most of them.

Now to the bad news... I dunno, it just seems that most of the stuff on here is outclassed by other things. Skarmory is a better Pokémon to set up entry hazards and can handle Breloom better (Roar away Substitutes and hit it on its 4x weakness to Flying with Brave Bird or Drill Peck). I see that Gallade having major power problems. Even after a Swords Dance... How hard does it hit? You have a neutral Attack nature and very little Attack investment. You're not going to do jack before a Swords Dance. An EV spread like the one you have is better off with a Double Status set; it won't damage much, but it will annoy the hell out of your opponent. I hate saying this because I LOVE Tangrowth, but it's really not doing much that the rest of your team isn't doing already. Rhyperior can take physical attacks and hits hard(er than Tangrowth) from the physical side, and Rotom can annoy with Trick (Although Knock Off has its own level of annoyance). In my experience, Tangrowth has not been a great user of Knock Off because of its low Speed (Although it gets nice hits on switches). My set runs Substitute over Knock Off. I Substitute on the switch, put whatever comes in to sleep as it breaks my Substitute, Leech Seed it, Substitute again, and proceed to Power Whip it. Most of the time the opponent thinks they will wake up soon, but I have often taken down Pokémon that Tangrowth can't normally take down because of this (I've even taken down a Palkia with Flamethrower with this set). Rotom-W is not easily replaced, but for the use you have it for now, I would say a Trick Latias is the best way to go. Lickilicky hass a nice set, yes, but in OU, you're better off with something like Metagross for your tanking needs, mainly because Lickilicky doesn't have the resistances most tanks need.

I dunno... I think it MIGHT be able to work, but it will be difficult, and there are things out there that will easily replace and outperform current members. However, in the end, it's up to personal preference.

sounds a bit werid, but I'll test your team out. PM me your friend code if you wana fight, and when you can play. My code is 0387-5263-9789
