I dunno but staying in Sinnoh seems very likely for me

Yes I am serious. I doubt Dp136 would be the finale. In the town they are staying it seems like there is the final contest. If they knew of team galactics actions they wouldn't be going around doing contests and such. I think that we would see what they are up to and then they would continue and finalize the galactic plot in the battle island with a much larger focus on them. I dunno it just seems possible now.

Well I was thinking this for a long time, people thought they would just have a Stark Mountain episode possibly and then got to Johto BF or have GF at ribbon syndicate then Johto BF, but anything is possible, but I am still thinking the Battle Zone will be used instead of Johto, I mean the games have been getting a lot of advertising as it is now, no real need to advertise the games by going back to Johto, there are other ways of doing it, like the Gen II pokmeon appearing.

they won't have galactic as a one episode finale
both team rocket and team magma/aqua had two episode finales.
this won't be different- if the anime is consitent with the games about dialga and palkia, as well as the torn world business, it'll probably be 3.

When you say staying in Sinnoh, you mean as far as what? The Team Galactic plot line? The Battle Frontier? Some sort of filler arc?

Seems pretty obvious to me. Even the BF has a chance at being more of a 'frontier' rather than a romp through an old region. There's plenty more Sinnoh on the way. It's guaranteed.

IMO we'll know for sure if we see Jasmine at Sunyshore. If Jasmine appears, and tells Ash about Johto, well...then we know he's going there.

However if they skip Jasmine entirely, then I'm not sure. I know I say this all the time, but as long as Ash battles the Elite 4 and Cynthia, even if he loses to Cynthia, I'll be happy.

Hopefully Bertha and Flint get an episode soon.

I'm not so sure that Ash would learn about any kind of event in Johto if Ash meets with Jasmine at Sunnyshore. If he does go to Johto, which I'm quite sure that he will, I doubt that he'll learn about it until after the Sinnoh League. Ash didn't learn of the Kanto Battle Frontier until after the Hoenn League. In fact I believe he's never heard of another region's tournament before he finished competing in the current saga's tournament. So, I don't see why they would inform Ash about it before the Sinnoh League even starts. That seems a bit too soon.
