Because I didn't see one of those catch-all "newbies come here" threads I am used to on other boards.
Anyway, I'm Nashida, or you may call me Liz if you wish. I just joined because at first I was looking for an article on the Thunderstorm TCG box set they released some 10 years ago now, and when I did find one right away I debated writing one, so I joined. Then I found an article existed after I had joined, but figured this looked like a fun place to join anyway.
I've been a fan of Pokemon since I was 10 (I'm going to be 22 in one month, yow.). I recently fell in love with it when most of my college crew had been playing Diamond and Pearl, and when HG/SS came out and I was at one of my local anime cons, Pokewalkers were everywhere (as well as some awesome cosplay). This lead to me joining a Pokemon League our gaming club started and trying to earn badges.
I'm hoping I can help contribute to the site in any way possible; I know I've still got quite a few of the old Hasbro toys from Generation I as well as a few other things that might become useful.
Oh, and small disclaimer: I'm slightly dyslexic, so something might not be spelled right the first time. It usually takes me an hour to realize it's not right and fix it.
