So I was just on Youtube listening to Pokemon music. 27 and on Youtube listening to Pokemon music, oh god... ANYWAY! I have caught over 450 pokemon and I had this sudden urge to release them all! Like I feel genuinely bad that they're all in my PC sitting there, I feel like a monster.

What should I do!? Someone reassure me they're happy T_T

They're not happy. They're sad, lonely and distraught. You have captured over 450 pocket monsters, but how many have you used? How many have you leveled to their true potential? I bet you've only ever captured some with no intention of using them, treating them like a number to earn an arbitrary certificate from Professor Oak.

What do you care of a Bidoof, or a Goldeen? You don't - you're too busy lusting over that Garchomp Cynthia uses or your starter pokémon. You are a monster. You capture and imprison these creatures for no reason. You shall not get any sympathy from me!

I would recommend you get onto your game and treat your monsters with respect. That Quagsire? Teach is some TMs, run into that long grass and raise it to level 100. It's the only way you can redeem yourself.

What's wrong with Team Plasma? Vive la revolucion!
Their cool battle theme is a secret recruitment tool, everyone!
Free those poor, unused pokemon! They deserve love too!

Well their happiness doesn't go down in the PC, and nor does their Amie affection rating - so that settles it for me.
If they're not there, chances are they'd be training fodder for someone else! Or, in some cases, you're saving them from other Pokémon - Wurmple is a prime example!

Oh, and never stop listening to Pokémon music. I've recently been enjoying Giratina's theme from Platinum again...

Do it. Release them all. I recently released 90% of my Pokemon collection, and I feel much happier and much freer for it. Now I only catch and keep Pokemon I intend to use. Join us. Join the REAL Team Plasma. Freedom for Pokemon! Pokemon are people too, not items to be fawned over and collected!

(I'm pretty serious, actually. Not joking. I did release most of my Pokemon recently because I felt bad and because there was too many of them cluttering up my games. I felt a bit bad, but mostly good for releasing them rather than keeping them around to do nothing. I'm just not into the thought of collecting them like items. It feels... unethical. Of course, so does locking them in a Pokeball, but that isn't something I can control.)

My PC boxes lead to a giant nature preserve where the pokemon roam and play in a comfortable environment for them. The PC display just lets me know who I have out there. I dunno what you all are talking about. :p

Also I listen to Pokemon music online and I'm almost 26 I see no problem here! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
