Say I want to put a video in my post/blog How do I make the video itself a part of the post instead of appearing as a link?

There's an icon that looks like this:
video.png
Just click on it and paste the URL of the video to embedd it into your blog post.
 
You could either click on the button Game Maker showed, or just manually type out [noparse][video][/video][/noparse], and insert the link in between the tags. Both work the same.
