There is this friend of mine who used to play Gen I and II (he didn't play Gen III as much as I did), we played Colosseum 2 with some other friends, I had no competitive play knowledge by then, so you can imagine how I lost to some legendaries and other kinds of pokemon.

As years came and went I began playing Gen III and thaught him a few things about the new game mechanics, although he kept believing in the old system (having a pokemon from the lowest level possible and those things), now we are at Gen IV on almost "even" conditions.

Then I did a little research on competitive rules to be fair and used Serebii's Uber list as reference, but what it seems to hurt his pride is the banning of OHKO moves, he is an avid fan of Horn Drill, his reaction to that rule was "meh, W*ssies", I explained the luck factor and all, but "it doesn't make them less w*ssies", anyway, no OHKO, no Ubers and no Evade-up moves, he accepted.

My only advantage seems to be the EV training, but he seems to be preparing some titans (Tyranitar and Garchomp for sure), as for me, I am preparing a Calm Mind Blissey and Swicheroo Lopunny, this might be fun.

This is one of those times when we choose one:

- Be a "Stop Having Fun Guy" and teach him some training basics.

Or

- Just use my knowledge and kick his pride.

What do you think is worse? any thoughts on these kind of situation? What do you do when someone has that much love for OHKO?

Oops! I'll need to hunt for Skarmory and breed for nature at least, it won't take long, thanks.
