I have a combo TV/VCR, and lately when I try to tape anything, the whole thing acts up. I'll ask it to play and it'll shut down. I'll ask it to stop and it'll eject. I've lost vital parts of shows because of these errors.

So I ask you--what's a good combo TV/VCR on the American market that isn't too expensive? The current one is a Sylvania, if that helps any.

I don't know what's good or bad but why not get a TV/DVD?

Well I guess they're always DVD/VCRS that arent too shabby for price.
Normally, I would trust SAMSUNG for what your looking for...

Um yeah, not Wal-Mart.

Target has a TV/VCR/DVD...not sure of the price, though. Seems like it's bound to be a little pricey (though, ultimately, that's dependent upon the buyer's window of...economic expenditure). I've had an...okay...history with Toshiba, personally. Not on my "never buy from again" list...so that's always a good thing.

How about K-Mart? TV/VCR/DVD for about $300 by Sylvania (unless the issues that arose with your current Sylvania has caused you to dislike them as much as I hate E-Machines). IF you have a K-Mart around, that is (we have...like...one in this state).

I also tried Circuit City and Best Buy's websites with absolutely no luck at all. Oddly enough, didn't see a single TV/VCR, only TV/VCR/DVDs at any other places I looked. Maybe that's a sign. Maybe I just suck at looking. Maybe it's just a sign that I suck at looking. Who knows?

Why not Wal-Mart?

I've never had a problem with anything bought from there. In fact, with my next paycheck, I'm getting a new TV so I can finally play my Wii in the living room instead of the kitchen.
