I had my voice clips on SoundLantern, but they recently closed. Anyone know of any other streaming audio hosts? I know of Putfile, but I've heard absolute horror stories about it.

although I know what streaming video is, I'm not quite sure what streaming audio is...

would Esnips work or is that not streaming audio? I used to use that as a file storage place.

It's the same thing really, but with audio instead of video. Think of Youtube but with just sound.

That site looks...strange. How do you navigate it?

Couldn't you just make a "video" by overlaying some relevant pictures with the audio? That's what I do with my audio coverage I put on YouTube.

Sign In and Join Now are at the very top right, but after that, I do not remember. D:

Which website are you talking about there? I understand what youtube is like because I go there.

Yoshi, no I can't. I don't have any video editing software, and even beyond that, I want it to be ALL ABOUT the voice, not whatever picture I put up.

And Flapjack, I was talking about the site linked in the POST I WAS REPLYING TO. What else would I be talking about?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you could use Movie Maker? Just put in the sound bytes (bites, bits, whatever) and the pictures, I'm taking a class next year that will do something along those lines.

Oh I see. The Post you quoted said esnips.com and that's what they were referring to. Also are you making sure you're loading them up onto there? Sorry if I sound like I still don't know what we're talking about because I have never even been to one of those sites.

Also I think I am going to add on to what Milotic was saying. You could either try Movie Maker or EVEN Windows Movie Maker. I know that's what I had on my computer. Well that depends on the type of your computer that you have.

Flapjack, please do us all a favor and STFU unless you know what you're talking about.

Unfortunately, he knows a bit, Windows Movie Maker was what I was talking about...

WMM, though glitchy, does work. Don't even put a real picture up. Just make the picture black for the entire clip or something. A lot of songs are posted up on popular video sites like YouTube this way, though sometimes they'll just post like the name of the song and the artists for the picture as well.

Aside from that, there aren't a lot of reliable free hosts out there... that I can think of. /unhelpful

Yeah, I don't think I even *have* that program, but even then, I'd want an AUDIO site simply because I want to have linkable clips for auditions and I think linking to Youtube would be unprofessional.

Well, posting what it's for sometimes helps, y'know? ;D Just saying.

Anyhow, I looked harder to see if I could find some free sites. I found some, but only one looked like what you'd want: Onmvoice. Unfortunately I have no experience with this website, so I can't say anything otherwise.

Ok, well, we must now shun Flapjack for blasphemy!

Wait, what? What do you mean you're going to shun me? This isn't Systemnet. This is BMGF and BTW, I just posted in this thread again. Why don't you STOP your blasphemy here? 8D!
