I need help building a team pretty please...

I love using pokemon that have absorb abilities, such as water absorb and volt absorb, although I'm almost sure that will get me normal. If not, that's cool.
I had a strategy of using a Meganium as a tank with the moves Ingrain, AncientPower, Toxic, and Giga Drain. I used Max PP on the Giga Drain and Ancientpower and attatched leftovers. I kinda liked using it but I noticed it wasn't the smartest idea.
I want a bulky team that can deal some damage, and a weather team for double battles.
I had a surf double battle team, whch involved keeping my Vaporeon or Lapras alive. Most of my pokemon knew Surf: Vaporeon, Swampert, Exploud, and Lapras. My back up pokemon were scizor and gardevoir.
But i realize that team sucked.
I'm not sure if this is enough information to how I like to battle, I'll try to add a little more.Pretty please help? ^-^
I prefer bulky pokemon that can deal some damage and hold their own if they need to. My favorite types are Fire, Dragon, And Ground, if that helps.

Umm...this is the rate my team section. Meaning, you have a team and we help fix it. We're not supposed to make it for you.
And as for what kind of team you want, can you be a bit more specific? Tell us what tier you're playing in for starters. I need specifics to help you .

well I had made another team before, and people said there wasn't much change needed to make because it sucked.
Well I was hoping to go for OU or even UU. Either one would work, but Im leaning a bit more towards OU.

Kk. I'm going to assume OU. You need a lead, first off. Since you like absorb abilities, and I recommend an Electivire on your team, I think Empoleon lead could work out very well.
Modest Empoleon @Focus Sash

~ Aqua Jet
~ Stealth Rock
~ Grass Knot / Ice Beam
156 HP / 252 SpA / 100 Spe
This way, you can set up Rocks, then switch to Electivire to take an Electric attack--

Electivire Adamant@Expert Belt

~ ThunderPunch
~ Ice Punch
~ Cross Chop
~ Earthquake
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

who will get a Speed Boost. From here you can sweep and OHKO pretty much anything not carrying Earthquake. In other words, stay away from Swampert.
So, yeah, I think that's an idea that's work on your team. Pass on Meganium, since it' last about 5 seconds against Infernape, who's one of the most used Pokemon is OU.
