This has been bothering me probably since I was seven and got Pokemon Red.
I kind of forgot about it but playing Firered reminded me of it and I just don't get it.

Okay one of the poster in the Celadon's Mart says

"Red and Blue both are Pokemon!"

In the remakes it says:

"Green and Red both are Pokemon!"

Can some one tell me what it means? I mean, it's certainly nothing but I just want to know what they meant to say.
Some one said it's a adertisement for the games but I don't really think so.

i would think its for the games.. Pokémon Red & Blue Pokémon Firered & Leafgreen just what i think though

Yep that's only a message meaning "no matter which version you bought, since it's the same game, so enjoy it". The colors changed because the names changed, so it wouldn't make sense to still read "blue" in LeafGreen version.

...
Now I'm even more confused.
If they were talking about the games why didn't they say 'both are games' instead of "both are Pokemon" I mean, the statement to me sounds like it's saying the main chacters are Pokemon.

P.S. There's a funny joke in the game that if you go up to one of the video games in the mart it says "An RPG. There's no time for that." That made me lol when I realised the joke.

games would sound wierd some people might think its to much advertising so thry just said they are bith Pokémon (games)

Both are "Pokémon games" tells you something? If you look into how Gen I was advertised, you'll see that the games offical name is only "Pokémon", not "Pokémon Blue" and "Pokémon Red", so it meant "both are Pokémon [the game]", like saying "both are Metal Gear Solid 4" (they were refering to Pokémon as the name of the game, not the creatures, that's what I'm trying to say).
